Bacteria on Salt Water Medium Evaluation: The Conceptual Impacts of Temperature
Abstract: The potential impact of temperature on bacteria on salt water medium for crude oil degradation in an aerated lagoon system was simulated using MATLAB Simulation software. The specific rate of bacteria obtained revealed maximum at temperature of less than 35oC with the order of 90 o C (11 cfu/ml) > 60 o C (40 cfu/ml) > 45 o C (35 cfu/ml) > 30 o C (28 cfu/ml). Most of the …

Metagenome-Informed Engineering of Monoclonal Antibodies: Mining Microbial Immunoglobulin-Like Domains for Ultra-Stable Therapeutics
Abstract: Metagenome-informed engineering represents an emerging strategy for improving the stability and functionality of monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) by leveraging the vast diversity of microbial immunoglobulin-like (Ig-like) domains (10,24). These domains, derived from uncultured bacteria and bacteriophages, exhibit exceptional thermostability, protease resistance, and structural resilience due to adaptation to extreme environments (29,30). This review highlights advances in metagenomic mining, structural characterization, and protein engineering that enable the integration of microbial Ig-like scaffolds …

Enhancing Rhizoremediation of Petroleum Hydrocarbon-Contaminated Soil Using Brachiaria ramosa: A Review of Plant Growth Promotion and Degradation Potential
Abstract: This paper examines rhizoremediation as a sustainable and environmentally acceptable remediation technique in response to the growing problem of petroleum hydrocarbon pollution in soils. Brachiaria ramosa, a tropical grass species that may be useful in contaminated settings, is the main emphasis. A critical analysis of the literature on plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR), microbial consortia involved in hydrocarbon breakdown, and rhizosphere-mediated degradation is conducted. There is a thorough discussion of important …

Engineering Anti-Tau Monoclonal Antibodies for Alzheimer’s Disease and Parkinsonian Tauopathies: A Biotechnological Perspective
Abstract: Neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease and Parkinson’s disease are characterized by progressive neuronal loss associated with abnormal protein aggregation. Among these, tauopathies are defined by the accumulation of hyperphosphorylated tau protein, which plays a central role in disease progression. Advances in biotechnology have enabled the development of anti-tau monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) as promising therapeutic agents aimed at neutralizing pathological tau species and inhibiting their propagation. This review provides a …

Macro and Micronutrient Interactions with Malnutrition after Nutrition Education Intervention, Specifically with Regard to Nutritional Therapy and Diet Modification
Abstract: Nutrition and food have a crucial role in creating and sustaining optimum health. Physicians are interested in providing their patients with clinical nutrition therapy, but little is known about how they adhere to specific nutrition, in my opinion. Foods can contain a variety of various amounts and qualities of nourishing ingredients, which together make up nutrition. Patients in nutrition therapy learn how to make informed decisions once they select the …
