Emissivity and Dielectric Behavior of Red Soils of Dhule District at X-band Microwave Frequencies
Abstract: Using X-band (8.2 and 10.5GHz) experimentation, the fluctuation of the dielectric constant (ε’) and dielectric loss (ε’’) of soil samples with different moisture contents has been determined. After reaching a transition point, the value of (ε') grows gradually with moisture content before increasing quickly after that.
