Studies on the Self-Assembly of Steroids and DNA Mediated by Naphthalene based Amphiphilic Block Copolymer
Abstract: Amphiphilic block copolymers have attracted considerable interest in pharmaceutical and biomedical applications, including controlled drug release, gene delivery, and biomolecular sensing. In this study, fluorescent amphiphilic block copolymers were designed to facilitate interactions with biological molecules such as DNA and antiviral agents, enabling their behavior to be monitored through fluorescence spectroscopy. Two novel block copolymers, poly(methyl methacrylate) - b - poly(dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate - co - naphthyl methacrylate) [PMMA-b-P(DMAEMA-co-NMA)] and poly(styrene) …

Molecular Docking Studies of Wildtype P53 with Damnacanthal and Scopoletin- Phytochemicals Derived from Morinda Citrifolia
Abstract: Cancer is a prominent cause of mortality globally, and it has the potential to impact any region of the body. The tumor suppressor protein P53 plays a significant role in inhibiting tumor growth by regulating DNA repair, inducing cell cycle arrest, promoting senescence, and triggering apoptosis when confronted with genotoxic stress. P53 is found mutated in 50% of cancers where it loses its tumor suppressive properties and gains oncogenic properties …

Investigation of Bio-Physical Interaction and Electrophoretic Properties of Fe3O4/DNA Nanocomposite and Colloids for Biomedical Application
Abstract: In recent years, research on magnetic nanoparticles has gained significant attention. The core concept behind their physics lies in their interaction with biomolecules such as hemoglobin, DNA, and RNA. This study examines the fundamental forces involved in these interactions, including van der Waals attractions, electrostatic repulsion, thermal effects, and magnetic coupling between nanoparticles and biological molecules. To describe these interactions quantitatively, parameters such as zeta potential, magnetic moment density, and …

A Comprehensive Review on Male Infertility
Abstract: The failure to attain a clinical pregnancy naturally after one year of unprotected intercourse is termed as infertility. Some of the factors that contribute to Infertility are late marriages, advanced age, genetics and lifestyle to name a few. To tackle this scenario, infertile and sub fertile couples take the aid of assisted reproductive technology. Intra uterine insemination (IUI), In vitro fertilization (IVF), Intra cytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), surgical sperm retrieval …

Case Report on Nevirapine Induced Exfoliative Dermatitis
Abstract: Nevirapine is the first drug of non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NNRTI) class to treat seropositive patients, administered along with protease inhibitors and/or NRTIs. Nevirapine binds directly to reverse transcriptase (RT) and blocks the RNA-dependent and DNA-dependent polymerase enzyme. Exfoliative dermatitis is wide spread erythema and scaling of skin caused by pre-existing skin disorders, drugs and cancer, unknown causes. HIV infected patients are more prone to Exfoliative Dermatitis. This is a …

Computational Analysis of Tinospora Cordifolia Phytochemicals as Potential Inhibitors of BRCA1-BRCT Domain Interaction in Breast Cancer
Abstract: Breast cancer is a leading cause of cancer-related deaths worldwide, accounting for a significant proportion of mortality rates among women. Despite current therapeutic approaches, the disease remains characterized by molecular heterogeneity, making it challenging to develop effective treatments. This study explores the potential of Tinospora cordifolia, a medicinal plant, in breast cancer therapy. Guduchi, scientifically known as Tinospora cordifolia, boasts a centuries-long history of use in traditional medicine, with a …

Association of Vitamin D Binding Protein BP rs2282679 Gene Polymorphism and Serum Levels of Vitamin D in Patients with Vitiligo
Abstract: For vitamin D to have an impact, the vitamin D receptor (VDR) must be expressed and activated in the nucleus. The VDR has several known genetic variants. Biological impacts can be caused by changes in DNA sequences known as "polymorphisms" that are common in the population. Vitiligo is a disease that causes loss of skin color in patches, and it is a chronic (long-lasting) autoimmune disorder loss of color. The …

Identification of Secondary Metabolites from Zingiber officinale as Inhibitors for Keap 1-Nrf2 small Molecules through Molecular Docking Techniques
Abstract: Objective: Therapeutic plants aid in treating cancer-based cell signaling pathways and preventing certain risk factors. Zingiber officinale has a variety of anti-inflammatory characteristics also contributing to enhanced immunity, reducing cancer risk and used to target the KEAP NRF2. When overexpressed in response to oxidative stress and DNA damage, elevates the risk of developing multiple cancers. NRF2 cellular sensors, which also control and coordinate their expression aid in defending healthy cells …

In Silico Screening of Terminalia chebula Phytocompounds as Potential Inhibitors of NTCP and DDB1 in Hepatitis B Virus Infection
Abstract: Hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection is a major global health concern, and chronic carriers are at risk of developing cirrhosis, hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), and even death. Existing treatments can effectively inhibit viral replication, but they achieve little eradication of the virus because of covalently closed circular DNA (cccDNA) retention. In this investigation, bioactive compounds of Terminalia chebula, a plant known for its hepatoprotective and antiviral properties in traditional medicine, were …

Molecular Docking-Based Analysis of Rauvolfia serpentina Alkaloids Targeting HPV E1 and L1 Proteins for Antiviral Therapeutic Potential
Abstract: Human papillomavirus (HPV) is a major cause of cervical cancer and other epithelial cancers. E1 and L1 proteins are crucial to the virus's lifespan. E1 is a viral helicase that is needed for HPV DNA replication, and L1 is the main structural capsid protein that builds the virion and infects target cells. Going after these proteins is a good way to stop viruses from spreading. In this case, Rauvolfia serpentina, …
