Human Age and Gender Determination Using Fingerprints
Abstract: We present a review of technologies to determine human age and gender using fingerprints. Broadly two methodologies are reviewed i.e. Ridge based human age and gender determination and Image based human age and gender determination. Ridge based techniques uses ridge information with its variant statistics measures for classification of a human fingerprint into different classes of age groups and male/female distinction. These methods do not involve separate classifiers for classification …

Autonomous Agent Contracts for Adaptive Supply Chains
Abstract: This paper proposes a novel agent-driven, on-chain coordination layer for manufacturer–distributor–retailer handoffs that automates release, transfer, receipt, and state validation across the supply network. This approach combines belief–desire–intention (BDI) agents with narrowly scoped smart contracts to capture role responsibilities, capacity checks, and escalation policies. It aims to enhance conformance, traceability, and cycle-time reliability without relying on central intermediaries. This proof of concept links supply chain states—such as production-ready, packaged, listed, …

Tranexamic Acid Mouth Rinser as a Drug of Choice among Haemostatic Agent after Tooth Extraction in Patients who are on Anti-Coagulant and Anti Platelet Medical Therapy
Abstract: Oral surgery procedure became difficult to manage in patients, who are on anti-platelet and anti-coagulant medication. Risk of thromboembolism should be balance by surgeon via reducing or stopping anti platelet and anticoagulant therapy in such patients, because there are more risk of excessive post extraction bleeding if anticoagulation or anti platelet medications are prescribed at therapeutic dose during surgical procedure. Fibrin formation mechanism become impaired in such patients, as a …
