Integrated Frameworks for Artifical Intelligence in Radioactive Waste Characterization and Nuclear Lifecycle Safety

Abstract: The management and characterization of radioactive waste represent a pivotal challenge for the global energy sector, requiring the convergence of advanced physics, material science, and computational intelligence. As the nuclear industry undergoes a paradigm shift toward decommissioning legacy facilities and establishing deep geological repositories, the limitations of traditional, manually-intensive waste management processes have become increasingly apparent. Rigid separation from the biosphere is required for radioactive waste, which is defined by …

Machine Learning in Nuclear Medical Applications: A Review of Research Frontiers

Abstract: Nuclear medicine, encompassing PET, SPECT, and targeted radionuclide therapy, generates high-dimensional, quantitative data uniquely suited for machine learning (ML) analysis. This review synthesizes current research applications of ML across six key domains. Positron emission tomography (PET), single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT), and targeted radionuclide therapy are examples of nuclear medicine modalities that generate high- dimensional, quantitative datasets that are particularly well-suited for machine learning (ML)-driven analysis. These imaging methods provide …

Nuclear Reactor Safety Using Seismic and Natural Disaster Protection: A Study

Abstract: Nuclear energy has enormous power and is essential to the global effort to provide clean, sustainable electricity, but it also carries a huge responsibility: guaranteeing its complete safety. Nuclear energy is at a turning point. Nuclear power provides a potent, carbon-free answer as the globe struggles with climate change and the pressing need to decarbonize energy grids. However, public fear, primarily from past mishaps like Chernobyl and Fukushima, continues to …

The Next Era of Nuclear Engineering: Beyond Fission

Abstract: Nuclear engineering is going through a big change as new technologies strain the limits of classical fission-based power generation. This article talks about the future generation of nuclear technologies, such as new reactor designs, small modular reactors (SMRs), and the growing potential of nuclear fusion. It looks at how these changes are meant to make nuclear energy safer, use less fuel, and create less long-lived radioactive waste, which are all …

A Theoretical Model for a Fermi–Boson Hybrid Particle in Nuclear and Particle Physics

Abstract: We present a theoretical model for a Fermi–Boson Hybrid Particle (FBHP) that unifies fermionic half-integer spin matter fields with bosonic integer-spin force fields within a single quantum framework. By extending conventional quantum field theory, a hybrid creation operator is formulated that combines fermionic and bosonic operators through a continuous mixing parameter, allowing smooth interpolation between Fermi–Dirac and Bose–Einstein statistical behaviour. A generalized statistical mechanics formalism is developed, leading to quantitative …

    Theoretical Study of Z = 122 Nuclei

Abstract: We used atomic nuclei with proton number Z = 122 to calculate bulk properties within the relativistic mean field (RMF) theory. We utilized the force parameters recognized as NL3 in our calculations. We extend our calculation to isotopic series of Z = 122 and analyses the theoretical outcomes. A whole isotopic chain of nuclei with atomic number 𝑍 = 122 Z=122 is included in our inquiry, enabling a methodical examination …

Reimagining Nuclear Reactor Safety: The Study toward Passive Safety

Abstract: Nuclear power has been at a crossroads for decades. Acclaimed for its massive, decarbonized energy production, it has also been questioned because of the disastrous possibility of mishaps. Nuclear power remains a vital component of the global energy mix, offering a low-carbon, high- capacity solution to growing energy demands. However, its widespread adoption has historically been tempered by public safety concerns, amplified by incidents like Chernobyl and Fukushima. Traditional reactor …

A Study on Innovations in Primary Containment Technology for Safer Nuclear Power

Abstract: Nuclear power is a powerful carbon-free energy source that balances enormous potential with widespread public fear. Fear of radioactive leakage, a catastrophic catastrophe that might have long-lasting effects on the environs and human health, is at the core of this anxiety. The future of nuclear energy depends on finding a solution to this issue, and at the heart of that debate is the idea of primary containment, a technological marvel …
