Alpha Decay Half Lives of Heavy Elements
Abstract: AbstractAlpha decay is an atomic decay process where changes to another component by shooting out a molecule made out of two protons and two neutrons. This shot out molecule is known as an alpha molecule and is just a helium core. Alpha particles have a moderately huge mass and a positive charge. These huge mass methods alpha particles cannot go exceptionally far through the air, or get profound into a …

Atomic Reactors and Use of Heat Pipes
Abstract: AbstractNuclear power and coolant purpose in passive space power systems have evaluated PWC – 11 niobium base alloys (Nb – 1Zr – 0.1 C) to be one of suitable alloy system. High temperature resistant but easy to oxidize alloy have considered to be important from comparatively higher strength as observed in various heat treatments. Oxygen availability in space has contaminated from material associated to construction. Design compatibility and versatile use …

Review of Organic Rankine Cycle with various Heat Sources
Abstract: AbstractThis paper, reviews about the working and performance of Organic Rankine cycle with different heat sources. There are various sources of heat are available, from the range of low temperature to very high temperature. The source of this heat is of many types such as various types of engines, chemical industries, machines and various processes. This cycle allows re-cycling the waste heat from various sources is converted into useful work …

Characteristics of PWC-11 in Atomic Reactors
Abstract: AbstractCarbon (0.1%) addition to basic Nb – 1 Zr alloy has introduced carbide precipitation to enhance desirable properties. Precipitation hardened PWC – 11 compared to solid solution hardened Nb – 1 Zr alloys show no appreciable changes by low cycle fatigue behavior, even failure modes are also similar i.e. intergranular cracking. Selections of suitable alloys are considered for resistance to high temperature in extraterrestrial environments and resistant to radioactive neutron …

An Overview of Heavy-ion Collisions
Abstract: AbstractA large number of experiments have been performed to explore the heavy-ion collisions dynamics using accelerator facilities available in India. The experimental results have revealed that in reactions induced by nucleons or light particles at energies of the order of a few tens MeV, the great majority of the processes one observes are of statistical nature though they cannot be interpreted as a consequence of the decay of a fully …
