Nuclear Diagnostic Imaging for PET Scan using Technetium-99m
Abstract: AbstractNuclear diagnostic procedures are used in almost every hospital worldwide on a daily basis. PET scan is the most commonly used nuclear medical imaging procedure. PET scan is considered a safer alternative to other nuclear diagnostic procedures. It is primarily used to identify the diseases, predict the possibility of occurrence of a particular disease, planning and analysis of a treatment. The PET scan has many applications but its only side …

Nuclear Energy Scenario in India
Abstract: Currently, the demand of electrical energy is increased day by day and to control this demand is very difficult for a country and its people. This kind of demands also affects the environment as most of the energy creation by fossil fuel causes the emission of CO2 and hits the economy of country. To resolve this kind of issue we used nuclear energy as an alternative source of energy for …

Magnetic Moments of Mirror Hypernuclei with X-N-Λ Configuration for 6 Λ He ∼ 6 Λ Li and 14 Λ C ∼ 14 Λ N with Hybrid Quark Model
Abstract: A microscopic method to evaluate the effective magnetic moment of hyperon inside a six-quark bag based on quark exchange current model has been described. The Schmidt formula and its modification for magnetic moments of hypernuclei with X-N-Λ in the framework of hybrid quark model has also been discussed. The modified values depend on (i) the probability of the overlap of hyperon with the nucleons and (ii) the effective magnetic moments …

Cancer Treatment by Radionuclide Therapy
Abstract: Recently, pretargeted nuclear imaging and radiotherapy have gained tremendous attention for diagnosis and treatment of cancer with nanomedicines. Radionuclide therapy (RNT) is one of the rapidly growing fields of nuclear medicine which works on the mechanism of delivery of cytotoxic levels of radiation to the disease sites, sparing the normal cells. RNT targets diseases at the cellular level rather than on a topographic anatomical level when compared to conventional external …

Educational Review on the Neutron Physics and Third Quantisation
Abstract: Quantum theory is the first quantisation, and quantum field theory is the second quantisation in physics. The third quantisation has been recently introduced by Mukhopadhyay as author by the invention of concept theory. The general properties of nuclei are briefly depicted in this review. Also, the physics of neutrons is briefly mentioned. In future, the concept of third quantisation may become a useful theoretical technique to develop the analysis on …
