Unraveling Mixed Ionic-Electronic Conduction in Lithium-Substituted Rubidium Tetra Titanates via Dielectric Spectroscopy and EPR Analysis
Abstract: Lithium-substituted Rubidium Tetra Titanates with varying concentrations of lithium carbonate (Li₂CO₃) — specifically 0.01, 0.05, and 0.1 molar percentages — were successfully synthesized using a conventional high-temperature solid-state reaction method. The resulting compounds follow the general chemical formula Rb₂₋ₓLiₓTi₄O₉. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis confirmed that lithium ions were successfully incorporated into the crystal lattice without disrupting the fundamental layered structure of the host material. The crystal system remained monoclinic across …

Synthesis and Characterization of VO 2+ doped SrMg 2 (PO 4 ) 2 Nanopowder by Solid State Reaction technique suitable for White LED material
Abstract: VO2+ doped SrMg2(PO4)2 nanopowder was synthesized by using solid state reaction (SSR) technique. Various experimental techniques have been performed on prepared sample. XRD analysis has revealed that prepared nanopowder is in monoclinic phase. The average crystallite size, micro strain and dislocation density evaluated and make an analogy with W-H plot method. SEM micrographs shows that agglomerated stone like structure and EDS spectrum shows elemental compositions of synthesized sample. FTIR spectrum …

E-Waste Toxicity and Its Environmental Impact, Challenges, and Solutions for Sustainable Waste Management in India
Abstract: Introduction: E-waste describes any electronic component that is obsolete or no longer functional. The ever-increasing public concern of e-waste in India stems predominantly from the aggressive expansion of the electronics industry along with insufficient recycling and disposal practices. Lead, mercury, and cadmium in e-waste pose serious risks to human health and the environment by polluting air, soil, and water. Informal recycling methods further exacerbate these hazards through unsafe practices. This …

Synthesizing Policy Gaps, Sector-Specific Challenges, and Emerging Opportunities to Develop Novel Research Themes in India’s Circular Economy
Abstract: The concept of the Circular Economy represents an important shift away from the linear & take-make-dispose" model toward a regenerative system, with quite a number of aspects in which circularity is needed in India, due to recent decades of rapid industrialization and rising consumption. Despite supportive policy initiatives such as the National Resource Efficiency Policy and Extended Producer Responsibility frameworks, India's transition to CE remains fragmented. This synthesis aims to …

Determination of Compatibility of Polymer Systems and Study of Chemical Properties of their Mixtures
Abstract: We have obtained mechanical strength of materials as a result not by synthesizing new polymers, but by using industrial polymers. We have developed a technology for obtaining new composite materials based on industrial multi-tonnage polymers of high-strength polyethylene (HSPE), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyurethane thermoplastic elastomer (DUTEP), butyl rubber (BR), chlorocarboxylate polyethylene (CCPE), ethylene propylene rubber (EPR). To obtain a composition from these polymers, their mixture compatibility was first determined using …

Closing the Loop: Innovative Strategies for Circular Economy and Sustainable Waste Management
Abstract: Africa’s growing waste crisis, especially in rapidly expanding cities across Nigeria, has made it increasingly clear that traditional “take–make–dispose” systems can no longer support sustainable development. This paper explores how shifting to a circular economy (CE) can transform waste from a persistent challenge into a valuable resource. Instead of seeing waste as an endpoint, the circular economy model encourages designing products for longer lifespans, rethinking consumption patterns, and recovering materials …
