Binary Shape Segmentation and Classification using Coordination Number (CN)*
Abstract: We proposed a novel, micro-structures, shape-preserving local descriptor for contour-segmentation- based binary object classification and recognition, named local coordination number count (LCNC). In this method, we formulate the problem by estimating the 8-neighbourof each binary object pixel. In the matching stage, we used Euclidean distance between eigenvalues corresponding to correlation coefficient and the dynamic programming to find out the optimal correspondence between boundary smoothness of two shapes. Experimental results obtained …

Data Mining Methods for Terrorist Activity
Abstract: Identification of outliers is an important component of data mining since such observations can have a profound influence and distort the analysis. In the recent years, detection of outlier has been broadly applied in the field of data mining. It is an important method for many research applications such as credit card fraud, computer intrusion detection, and criminal activities in electronic commerce, medical diagnosis and anti-terrorism, image processing. Detection of …

3D-QSAR and Molecular Docking Studies of Triazol-Cycloalkanol Derivatives Used as Potent 3-Dehydroquinase II Inhibitors Against Mycobacterium tuberculosis
Abstract: Tuberculosis is a life threatening infectious disease caused by gram positive bacteria mycobacterium tuberculosis. Emergence of drug resistance, multi drug resistance and extensively drug resistance strain of mycobacterium make the situation more worst. It increases the mortality rate of tuberculosis patient, time duration and cost of treatment. Various inhibitors and drug molecules are designed to combat this fatal disease. Enzymes of shikimate pathway are responsible for production of essential amino …

Skeletal Fluorosis in Populace of Deoli Tehsil (Tonk District), Rajasthan, India
Abstract: ABSTRACT:Fluorosis is a slow, progressive, crippling malady, which affects every organ, tissue and cells in the body and results in health complaints having overlapping manifestations with several other diseases. Fluoride contents enter into the body by water, food, fluoride dust, air fumes, drugs, cosmetics, industrial fluoride and neighbourhood. The consumption of fluoride in high level of 1.5 ppm leads to cases of skeletal fluorosis. For this purpose, 130 samples were …

Production of Alum from Aluminium Drink Cans Waste for Water Treatment
Abstract: The graphite furnaces atomic absorption spectrophotometry (GFAAS) technique has been previously used to quantify the aluminium (Al) content in soft drinks made from aluminium cans over the course of a 12-month storage period. The current research aimed to determine the efficacy of alum obtained from waste soft drink cans compared to the alum obtained from local markets in treating water from Shatt al-Arab, Basrah, Khorramshahr, and Abadan, Iraq. The Shatt …

Angiolipoma Misdiagnosed as Liposarcoma—A Case Report
Abstract: Lipomas are most commonly encountered benign tumors in surgical pathology. Angiolipoma is a rare vascular variant of the benign lipomatous tumors and is generally seen in subcutaneous tissues. Angiolipomas are usually found in the upper extremities, shoulder and back. They usually occur as painful soft tissue masses and may compress the neighbouring structures (e.g., nerves) depending on their size and location. We report a 40-year-old female with swelling in her …

Evaluation of Antibacterial, Antioxidant, in vitroAnti-inflammatory and Cytotoxicity Activity on MCF-7 Cell Line from Methanol Extract of BryonopsislaciniosaFruits
Abstract: Bryonopsislaciniosa, a shrub known as “Shivlingi” in India, is neighbourly used as an apprentice medicine and tonic. As a folk medicine, it is used to treat a broad range of diseases and disorders. With these properties in mind, we have designed an experiment to evaluatethe antibacterial, in vitro antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and cytotoxicity activities of methanol extracts. The methanol extract was evaluated for antibacterial activity by agar well diffusion method, antioxidant …

Data Driven Controller Design For Distributed Power Sources In Microgrid
Abstract: AbstractUsing renewable power sources requires controlled procedures to accomplish satisfactory stabile levels of power transmission and keep up with grid power deviation. Additionally, these methodologies in a perfect world require no pre-information of the grid structure, and as meagre correspondence with neighbouring power sources as would be prudent. As a next stride, we concentrate on how the power can be dispatched from different power hotspots for enhanced grid productivity. Microgrids …

Extent of Lingual Coarticulation: A Crosslinguistic Study Using Ultrasound Imaging
Abstract: In the recent past, Ultrasound imaging has been used extensively as a tool to measure coarticulation. The extent of coarticulation is the magnitude of distance between tongues contours of adjacent phonemes that varies based on the articulatory dynamics of each phoneme. This lack of invariance is language-specific which is related to the articulatory constraint properties of a particular language. In this context, the present study aimed to analyse the magnitude …
