Experimental, Analytical and Numerical Study of Energy Absorption Properties of Aluminum Crush Boxes with and without Buckling Initiators (Axial Loading)
Abstract: The crashworthiness in automobile is stated as the capability of a passenger car and its interior arrangements to safe-guard occupants from harm. Whenever an accident occurs, the passengers in the car can be injured due to one of the following reasons: (1) excess acceleration force; (2) physical injury from contact with injurious surfaces, and; (3) exposed to fire, smoke, and chemicals released during accidents. Thus effective crashworthiness design must take …

Thermal Stability of Compatibilised Natural Rubber/ Chitosan Blends
Abstract: The thermal degradation behavior of Natural Rubber /Chitosan (NR/CS) blends compatibilised with maleic anhydride (MA) was studied by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The TGA shows that the MA modified blends are more stable than the pure blends. MA acts as a reactive compatibiliser in NR/CS blends. MA grafted NR chain is highly reactive towards the functional group on the chitosan moiety, and when pressing at elevated temperature interaction develops between the …

Modeling and Performance Analysis of Electrical Vehicle with SPWM Inverter-fed IPMSM Taking Core Loss into Account
Abstract: Because of the advantages of electrical differentials, people are becoming more interested in using them rather than using mechanical differentials. The mechanical differentials are replaced by using the two rear motors. In the electrical vehicle (EV) different types of electrical machines such as induction motor, permanent magnet synchronous motor etc. are used. The design of a controller is a challenging work, as the output of the motor has to match …

In Silico Analysis and Molecular Docking Studies of COX-2 Inhibitors for Anti-Inflammatory Activity
Abstract: Although nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are frequently used to treat pain, lower fevers, and control inflammation, they frequently cause gastrointestinal side effects because they inhibit the COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes. Despite their effectiveness and lack of gastrointestinal side effects, selective COX-2 inhibitors have been linked to cardiovascular risks. To find new COX-2 inhibitors that are safer and more effective, this study uses in silico techniques, such as molecular docking and …

CONSTRUCTION SEQUENCE ANALYSIS OF HIGH-RISE STRUCTURE WITH CREEP AND SHRINKAGE EFFECT
Abstract: This study deals with a time-dependent analysis of reinforced concrete G+40 RC frame structures considering the construction sequence with the effect of creep and shrinkage analysis. Because of the non-mechanical deformations induced by the time-dependent deformations of concrete, concrete structures usually present different behaviors when the construction sequences are changed, despite having the same structural configurations. Therefore, the time-dependent effects of concrete such as creep and shrinkage must be taken …

Machine Learning Assisted Timing Violation Prediction in Sub-7nm VLSI Physical Design
Abstract: The continuous scaling of semiconductor technology into the sub-7nm regime has introduced significant challenges in timing closure due to process variability, interconnect delay, power density, and manufacturing uncertainties. Conventional static timing analysis techniques often require extensive computational resources and iterative optimization cycles, resulting in increased design complexity and longer turnaround time. This research proposes a Machine Learning Assisted Timing Violation Prediction framework for sub-7nm VLSI physical design to improve early-stage …

Preparation of Methyl Esters of Solid Acids from Litsea Consimilis
Abstract: This study focuses on the extraction and characterization of fatty acids from the seed oil of Litsea consimilis and their subsequent conversion into methyl esters. The oil demonstrated high iodine and Reichert-Meissl values, indicating a significant content of unsaturated and short-chain fatty acids. Glyceride analysis revealed that trilaurin constitutes over 90% of the triglycerides, confirmed through melting point analysis and hydrolysis yielding lauric acid as the sole component. The oil …

FDTD-based Time Domain Analysis of CMOS Gate Driven Interconnects
Abstract: Accurate time domain analysis of CMOS gate driven interconnects is important for the design and analysis of high performance VLSI systems. Conventionally, CMOS driver is approximated as a constant resistance instead of non-linear and time-varying MOS resistance, which causes inaccurate modeling of CMOS driver. This paper presents a new method for FDTD-based transient analysis of CMOS gate driven interconnect line using a generalized model. The generalized model of CMOS inverter …
