Ultrasonic Dispersion of Halloysite Nanotubes for Enhanced Mechanical, Thermal, and Morphological Performance of Epoxy Composites
Abstract: Halloysite nanotube (HNT)-reinforced epoxy nanocomposites were prepared by mixing HNT with bisphenol-A epoxy (LY 556) using ultrasonication, followed by compression molding. HNT contents of 0–5 wt.% were used. The composites were evaluated for tensile strength, flexural strength, Shore D hardness, Izod impact strength, and thermal stability using thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). Removal and Recovery of Zn (II) from Electroplating Rinse Waters Using Cation-Exchange Resins in a Packed Column
Abstract: In the present study, adsorption of Zn (II) ion from rinse water of electroplating Zinc has been attempted by Indion 225 and Dueolite C20 cation exchange resins through batch and column mode. Based on isotherm analysis more efficient adsorbent is chosen for column mode adsorption studies.
