Determination of Pesticide Residues in Agricultural Soil using High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gazipur District, Bangladesh
Abstract: This study was undertaken to determine the presence of pesticide residues in some agricultural soils of Gazipur district in Bangladesh. The collected soil samples were analyzed for some selected pesticides such as DDT, methoxychlor, acephate, fenthion, fenitrothion, parathion, ethion, carbaryl, carbofuran and cypermethrin by using high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) with PDA detector. Passive Capillary Flow of Aqueous Working Liquids in the PMMA Microchannel Bends
Abstract: In this work, passive capillary flows or surface-driven capillary flows are recorded in polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) microfluidic devices using aqueous ethanol and aqueous isopropyl alcohol (IPA) as chosen aqueous working liquids. Microchannel bends are the chosen microfluidic devices with the selected microchannel widths of 50, 120 and 200 micron. Morphological and Dielectric Relaxation Responses of Polymer Stabilized Ferroelectric Liquid Crystal Composite Films
Abstract: Polymer-stabilized ferroelectric liquid crystal (GH-PSFLC) composite films have been prepared by polymerization-induced phase separation (PIPS) process as a function of polymer concentration. Epoxy polymer was homogeneously dispersed into FLC host matrix to create fibril network in the composite films. Passive Capillary Flow of Aqueous Working Liquids in the SU-8 based Microchannel Bends
Abstract: In this work, total 4 individual SU-8 based microchannel bends are fabricated by maskless lithography and indirect bonding technique. The leakage-free surface-driven capillary flow of aqueous ethanol is recorded by a CMOS camera.
