Abstract: The main aim of this work was to determine the concentrations of some heavy metals, specifically Cu, Cd, Pb, Cr and Fe in Gwadabawa lake, Gwadabawa Local Government, Sokoto State using standard methods (atomic absorption spectroscopy) and materials of analytical grade.
