Experimental Study on the Effect of Combination of Two Ginseng-Containing Prescriptions of Koryo Herbal Medicines and Fluconazole in Systemic Candidiasis Mouse Model
Abstract: We evaluated the efficacy of two Ginseng-containing prescriptions of Koryo herbal medicines combined with fluconazole (FLC) against systemic candidiasis, using experimental mouse model. The results showed that combined with FLC, treatment of mice with Sa-Gun-Za-Tang or Sip-Zon-Dae-Bo-Tang significantly increased the survival rates and decreased the number of viable Candida albicans cells in the kidneys compared with treating animals with FLC alone(P<0.01 for both comparisons). Compared with untreated controls, treatment of …

Time of Lime Application on Performance of Food Barely in Acidic Soil, Gummer District, Southern Highland Ethiopia
Abstract: Soil acidity is the main bottleneck to crop production, causing reduced yields in highlands areas with heavy rainfall. Lime application is the most common method of restoring soil acidity and can increase soil pH, improve nutrient availability for plants, and alter physical, chemical, and biological properties of soils. However, the lime application time varies greatly along the boundary and deviates from the time recommended by different researchers. The experiment was …

A Protective Smart Cap System for Social Distancing and Spreadable Diseases
Abstract: In the current situation of COVID-19 disease; the aim should be to prevent the spread of the virus to the community. To achieve this, we must ensure that an appropriate social distance from individual to individual is maintained. To ensure that proper social distance is maintained and virus spread is reduced at the individual-to-individual community level, we have proposed the idea of a social distance warning cap. With the help …

Pattern Discovery for Text Mining
Abstract: Text mining refers to the process of extracting interesting, non-trivial information and knowledge from unstructured text. The challenging issue is to find accurate cognition or characteristics in text documents to help users to find what they want. Many term-based methods solved this but later suffered from the problems of polysemy and synonymy where polysemy means a word has multiple meanings and synonymy is multiple words having the same meaning. Later …
