Nutrition Induced Gut Microbiota Modulation in Food Animals: Implications for Viral Susceptibility, Shedding and Transmission Dynamics for Sustainable Development
Abstract: The gut microbiota has emerged as a central mediator linking host nutrition, immune competence, and vulnerability to viral pathogens in food animals. Diet is a primary driver of microbial community structure and function, influencing metabolite production, intestinal barrier integrity, and systemic antiviral immunity. Accumulating evidence indicates that nutrition induced modulation of the gut microbiota can substantially alter viral susceptibility, replication, and shedding patterns, with downstream effects on transmission dynamics within …

Experimental Study on the Effect of Combination of Two Ginseng-Containing Prescriptions of Koryo Herbal Medicines and Fluconazole in Systemic Candidiasis Mouse Model
Abstract: We evaluated the efficacy of two Ginseng-containing prescriptions of Koryo herbal medicines combined with fluconazole (FLC) against systemic candidiasis, using experimental mouse model. The results showed that combined with FLC, treatment of mice with Sa-Gun-Za-Tang or Sip-Zon-Dae-Bo-Tang significantly increased the survival rates and decreased the number of viable Candida albicans cells in the kidneys compared with treating animals with FLC alone(P<0.01 for both comparisons). Compared with untreated controls, treatment of …

NanoBioAI: Utilizing Python to Investigate Magnetocaloric Effects in Magnetotactic Bacteria and Optimized Conditions for Thermotherapy
Abstract: The study presented in the research work represents a multidisciplinary approach, integrating biology, nanotechnology, and artificial intelligence. It specifically highlights the use of python computational power to investigate magnetocaloric effect (MCE) in magnetotactic bacteria (MTB), a phenomenon yet to be fully understood, characterized by reversible heating and cooling effects induced by magnetic fields. MTB are unique in that they contain embedded magnetic nanoparticles ranging from 10–100 nm in diameters. These …

Mycotoxins in Grains: Toxicological Impact, Detection Strategies, and Public Health Implications
Abstract: Many types of fungi create mycotoxins, which contaminate cereal grains like wheat, maize, rice, and barley. Even at low doses, aflatoxins, ochratoxins, fumonisins, and deoxynivalenol are harmful to humans and animals. This study covers mycotoxin occurrence, detection, toxicological consequences, and public health concerns in grain-based food systems. Advanced analytical methods, like LC–MS, ELISA, and biosensors, are discussed for their sensitivity and routine monitoring applications. Experimental and epidemiological studies analyze chronic …

Physio-Mechanical Experimental Characterization of Natural Fiber Polymer Composites for a Boat Hull
Abstract: Composite materials which will provide for improved mechanical properties – a focus there to develop light weight, more rugged, stronger ship hull materials. The various application of glass fibers reinforced composites can be seen in the marine applications, such as boat hull, but in case of failing badly, they are non-recyclable and poses the threat to health hazards for aquatic animals and human beings which is their significant disadvantage. MARPOL …

Aluminum Oxide Nanoparticle-Adjuvanted Pasteurella multocida B:2 Vaccine is Potent and Efficacious and is Able with Keyhole Limpet Hemocyanin as a Marker to Differentiate Infected from Vaccinated Animals (DIVA)
Abstract: Pasteurella multocida B:2 causes hemorrhagic septicemia (HS) in bovines in Asia. For effective implementation of HS control program in India, a safe and efficacious vaccine to provide long lasting protection and allow differentiation of infected from vaccinated animals (DIVA) has to be developed. The objectives of the present study were to develop HS-DIVA vaccine with a companion immunodiagnostic test using keyhole limpet hemocyanin (KLH) as a marker, and to improve …

Ascorbic Acid Indicates Positive Role in Detoxification Studied on the Fresh Water Fish, Channa Orientalis (Schneider)
Abstract: Aquatic animals provide useful data for toxicological evaluations. Ascorbic acid acts as a detoxifier reduces which toxicity of pesticides. In this present work Ascorbic acid indicates positive role in detoxification. The study was carried out on the fresh water fish, Channa orientalis (Schneider) These aquatic organisms are adaptive and convenient for laboratory experimentation for toxicity testing. The role of ascorbic acid on experimental fish, Channa orientalis is discussed in this …

Vaccine Candidates and Animal Models for Kala-Azar
Abstract: Kala-azar or Visceral Leishmaniasis (VL) is a serious human disease in tropical regions and rapidly emerging as an opportunistic infection in HIV patients. The available treatment against VL is associated with toxicity and drug resistance. Even though the development of vaccines against VL is received limited attention. The only successful immunization strategy in humans has been leishmanization, which is based on the development of durable immunity after recovery from infection …

Effect of Snehpana (Lipid Based Drug Delivery System) with Shatpala Ghrit in Non-Alcholic Fatty Liver Diseases
Abstract: Among all the Drug Delivery Systems, Snehpana (~Lipid Based Drug Delivery System) is being widely used because this facilitates uniform distribution and absorption of fat and water-soluble chemical constituents. Due to their effective size-dependent properties and challenges related to the solubility and bioavailability of water-soluble drugs, this system holds a significant advantage. Numerous studies have highlighted the potential of lipid-based formulations in managing chronic and life-threatening diseases. Shatpala ghrit (SG) …
