Design and Fabrication of Tapered Optical Fiber Related Devices
Abstract: By joining conical single-mode fibers, a Mach-Zehnder interferometer with a refractive index (RI) sensor was produced. Sensors were made directly from conical SMFs using a Vytran engine. Compared to the single-taper sensor, the dual-taper sensor turned out to be more efficient. With a 10mm gap between the two taper sites in the dual-taper sensor arrangement, the RI fluctuation was quite noticeable. The principles underlying the design and fabrication of tapered …

Numerical simulation and Artificial neural network illustration of phase-change material integrated into lattice structures printed in 3D
Abstract: This work examines the phase change material (P.C.M.) deposited in various lattice formations—such as “S.C., B.C.C., and F.C.C”.—at varied characteristics. The test concentrates on comprehending heat transport properties and thermal activity throughout the “melting and solidification processes”. The heater's maximum temperature, P.C.M. “melting and solidification”, and Nusselt number are among the essential factors examined. Impact of Various Front-line Hypertensive medication on Blood Pressure Control During Maximum Exercise Testing in Coronary Artery Disease Patients
Abstract: It has long been known that blood pressure (BP) and cardiovascular morbidity are related. It is acknowledged that blood pressure during activity may serve as a more reliable indicator than resting blood pressure, which might not accurately reflect blood pressure at other times. Goals: 1) To assess how blood pressure behaves during physical activity in individuals with coronary artery disease (CAD) whose hypertension is managed with first-line antihypertensive medications. 2) …

Enhanced Sensitivity Iontronic Pressure Sensor Gauge Using Laser-Created Micro-Pyramid Structures for Wide Linear Range
Abstract: The achievement of high sensitivity, ultrahigh pressure resolution, and great linearity across a wide pressure range under huge pressure preloads remains a challenge despite the substantial development of flexible capacitive pressure sensors. Here we offer an ultrathin ionic layer-integrated microstructure creation process that is configurable. At 1700 kPa, the sensor's linear range sensitivity is 33.7 kPa-1; at 2000 kPa, the pressure resolution is 0.00725%, and the detection limit is 0.36 …

The Impact of Crosslinking Polyvinyl Alcohol with Glutaraldehyde on Toughness: A Statistical Analysis Using the Turnkey HSD Method
Abstract: The widespread use of non-biodegradable polymers exacerbates problems with global warming and other environmental difficulties. These problems necessitate the development of biodegradable polymers as a solution. In this research, we analyze the utilization of crosslinked polymer by its processing of polyvinyl alcohol (P V A) crosslinked with glutaraldehyde (G L U T). After curing for 24 hours in 2 moles of sulfuric acid (H2SO4), the plasticized alcohol has been cross-linked …

Association of Vitamin D Binding Protein BP rs2282679 Gene Polymorphism and Serum Levels of Vitamin D in Patients with Vitiligo
Abstract: For vitamin D to have an impact, the vitamin D receptor (VDR) must be expressed and activated in the nucleus. The VDR has several known genetic variants. Biological impacts can be caused by changes in DNA sequences known as "polymorphisms" that are common in the population. Vitiligo is a disease that causes loss of skin color in patches, and it is a chronic (long-lasting) autoimmune disorder loss of color. The …

The Evaluation of the Light Parameters and Pleural Fluid Cholesterol to Determine the Differences Between Exudative and Transudative Pleural Discharge
Abstract: Background: Pleural effusion occurs when an imbalance between pleural fluid production and absorption leads to the accumulation of excess fluid in the pleural cavity. Pleural effusions are commonly classified into two types: transudative or exudative, depending on the underlying mechanism of fluid formation. While transudates typically result from systemic factors like heart failure or liver cirrhosis, exudates are usually caused by local factors such as infection, malignancy, or inflammation. Differentiating …
