DNA Binding and Cleavage Studies of Cobalt Complexes Containing Bioactive Mixed Ligands
Abstract: The complexes containing bioactive ligand of the type [Co(L1L2)] (PF6)2 complex (1) (where L1=1,10-phenanthroline and L2 = N,N-dimethyl-2-{5-[(pyrrolidin-1-ylsulfonyl)methyl]-1H-indol-3-yl}ethanamine (almotriptan) in 1:1 molar ratio of ligands) and [Co(L1L3L4)] (PF6)2 complex (2) (where L3=4H-1,2,4-triazol-4-amine, L4=1H-benzimidazole-2-thiol and the ligands are in the ratio 1:1:1, were synthesized and characterized. Abstract: The biomedical potential of cobalt oxide nanoparticles (Co3O4 NPs) synthesized via green methods is gaining recognition due to their biocompatibility and multifunctionality. This article reviews the antibacterial and anticancer properties of Co3O4 NPs synthesized using Delonix regia leaf extract. Characterization techniques confirmed their nanoscale size and uniform morphology. Investigation of the Thermoelectric, Electronic Band Profile, and Structural Properties of Skutterudites Based on Cobalt and Antimony
Abstract: We investigated ThCo4Sb12, an actinium-filled skutterudite, from the ground up for structural, electronic, and thermoelectric properties. A generalized gradient approximation and modified BeckeJohnson potentials were used to calculate the exchange-correlation potential.
