Diabetic Risk Prediction Using Machine Learning
Abstract: The global prevalence of Type 2 diabetes has risen dramatically in recent years, posing a serious public health risk. Long-term risk prediction is an important technique for evaluating who is most likely to develop type 2 diabetes. Early detection and response can lead to better management and prevention of diabetes complications. Developing a user-friendly Windows program for long-term Type 2 diabetes risk prediction could revolutionize preventive healthcare due to technological …

Predictive Analytics for Student Well-Being and Occupational Success
Abstract: The integration of predictive analytics into higher education has significantly transformed institutional decision-making processes. However, prevailing implementations remain predominantly performance-centered, focusing on dropout prediction and grade forecasting rather than holistic developmental outcomes. Concurrently, higher education systems worldwide are confronting escalating concerns regarding student mental health, disengagement, career uncertainty, and labor market volatility. These intersecting challenges necessitate a broader theoretical reconceptualization of predictive analytics—one that integrates psychological well-being and long-term occupational …

Integrating Atmospheric Science: Understanding Greenhouse Gases, Aerosols, and Air Quality Dynamics
Abstract: Atmospheric science investigates the Earth’s atmospheric systems to understand their composition, dynamics, and the implications for climate, weather, and air quality. This review explores five primary areas within the field: atmospheric composition, atmospheric modeling, remote sensing, air pollution, and boundary layer dynamics, highlighting critical challenges and advancements. Rising levels of greenhouse gases (GHGs), including carbon dioxide and methane, continue to drive global warming, while feedback mechanisms—like cloud interactions and surface …

Prediction of Depth-Induced Stress Distribution and Maintenance Cost Implications for Submerged Structural Components
Abstract: This study investigates the influence of water depth on stress distribution and structural integrity of submerged mechanical components . Structural models fabricated from mild steel, stainless steel, carbon steel, and copper alloy were examined under hydrostatic loading corresponding to water depths between 30 cm and 150 cm. Results indicate that normal and shear stresses increased proportionally with depth due to intensified hydrostatic pressure. Mild steel exhibited the highest stress concentrations, …

India’s Changing Skies: Unravelling the Rise of Unpredictable Weather Extremes
Abstract: India is currently experiencing a significant transformation in its climate system, characterized by rising temperatures, irregular rainfall patterns, and an increasing frequency of extreme weather events. These changes are no longer gradual or isolated but are becoming more visible and impactful across different regions of the country. This study provides a detailed examination of long-term climatic trends in India by analysing temperature variations, monsoon behaviour, and the growing occurrence of …

Integrated Surface Water–Groundwater Dynamics: Implications for Pollution Pathways, Prevention, and Environmental Control
Abstract: Water resources worldwide are increasingly threatened by pollution pressures amplified by climate change and intensified human activities. The vulnerability of surface water and groundwater systems to contamination is strongly governed by their dynamic hydrologic connectivity, which is often overlooked in pollution prevention and control frameworks. Rising global temperatures, altered precipitation regimes, land-use change, and intensified abstraction patterns modify recharge processes, flow paths, and contaminant transport mechanisms across environmental landscapes. This …

Intelligent Earth: AI As A Catalyst For Climate Action
Abstract: Artificial Intelligence (AI) is assuming an increasingly influential role in climate science, providing advanced tools capable of interpreting vast, complex, and multi-dimensional environmental datasets. Traditional climate modeling approaches, while grounded in physical principles, frequently struggle to deliver high-resolution, real-time, and region-specific forecasts because of heavy computational demands, incomplete observations, and uncertainties in representing small -- scale processes. Artificial intelligence (AI) techniques, especially machine learning and deep learning, provide strong substitutes …
