Synthesis and Characterization of m-Amino Pyridine Derivatives
Abstract: Background: The current study involves the synthesis and characterization of amino derivatives. In the current research study, a series of m-amino pyridine derivatives were synthesized using m-amino pyridine and carbonyl compounds and characterized further. The pyridine derivatives have shown to possess potent antibacterial, antifungal, antitumor, antimalarial, anti-inflammatory antidiabetic, antioxidant, anthelmintic, anticonvulsant, antituberculous and so many other properties. Method: The condensation reaction of m-amino pyridine and carbonyl derivatives with ethanol is …

Synthesis, Characterization of New Imidazolidin-4-One Containing Azo Compound Derived from Acetylacetone as Antibacterial and Antioxidant Agents
Abstract: In the present study, new derivatives of imidazolidine-4-one was prepared. Which involved reactions to diazonium salt of o-methoxy aniline with acetylacetone in the presence of sodium hydroxide, and isolating the azo compound as a brown precipitate. The azo diketone reacts efficiently with aromatic amine derivatives to produce Schiff bases as a light yellow and dark brown precipitates, and from this Schiff bases three derivatives of imidazolidine-4-one was prepared by reacting …

Study on Efflux Pump Inhibition Activity of Marine Actinomycetes against Oflaxcin Resistsnt M. tuberculosis
Abstract: Studies were conducted to isolate marine actinomycetes active against oflaxcin resistant M. tuberculosis. Out of 25 actinomycetes isolates designated as ECRMP 4 showed potent antimycobacterial activity against all three tested Mycobacterial strains. Representative bioactive isolate was characterized using phenotypic property and identified as Micropolyspora sp. The zone of inhibition was 20 ± 0.1 mm (62% RIZD) against M. tuberculosis and 18 ± 0.6 mm (100% RIZD) against OFLR M. tuberculosis. …

Synthesis, Characterization and Antibacterial Activity of Chalcone Derivatives
Abstract: Chalcone derivatives were produced by the Claisen-Schmidt condensation of aromatic aldehydes with methyl ketones. Chalone derivatives are valuable species as they belong to keto-ethylenic components. Chalcone is a one-of-a-kind template that is linked to a variety of biological processes. 2-hydroxy-2,5- dichloro acetophenon (1) were synthesized by Fries migration and condensed with aromatic aldehyde to produce the new chalcone derivatives (2a-e). The new 1-(2-hydroxy-3,5-dichlorophenyl)-aryl-prop2-ene-1-ones (2a-e) (chalcones) were characterized using FT-IR and …

A Literature Survey on Biological Activities of Thiazolidine Derivatives
Abstract: Hetercyclic compounds play a vital role in both chemical and life sciences. Among them ,thiazolidinone represent a significant class, characterized by a five- membered saturated ring containing both sulfur and nitrogen atoms. Structurally, thiazolidinones are derived from thiazole, with sulfur position at the 1-position, nitrogen at the 3-position , and a carbonyl group typically located at the 2-, 4-, or 5- position are possible, though structural and functional diversity is …

Thiazolidinone and it’s Antibacterial Activity: A Reveiw
Abstract: Heterocyclic are one of the most important compounds in organic chemistry. Thiazolidinoneand its derivatives are the most important heterocyclic compounds, which are common and integral feature of a variety of natural products and pharmaceutical agents. Thiazolidinone is a cyclic amide formally derived from Thiazolidinone by replacing the Methylene group at position two with a carbonyl group, having various biological activities. Thiazolidinone are the new class of antimicrobial agents with activity …

Analysis of Docking Study on Protein Neprilysin (Neutral Endopeptidase) Inhibition for Anti-aging Treatment by Aloe Emodin and Aloe Emodin Carbonyl Derivative
Abstract: Attempts were made to perform comparative docking study of Aloe emodin and its derivative on Neprilysin (PDB code: 1R1J) by using VLife MDS software to ascertain the activity of both. From all the interactions (Hydrogen bond and vander waals) it was observed that, the common amino acids which interacts with the common ligand were ASN542A, ALA543A, ARG102A, ASN542A, VAL580A. The result showed that the AEC (–1790.15 KCal) showed high total …
