Thermal Instability in a Second-Order Fluid under the Effects of Suction-Injection-Combination and Maxwell-Cattaneo Law
Abstract: AbstractThe onset of Rayleigh-Bénard convection in a Second-Order fluid under the effects of Suction-Injection-Combination and Maxwell-Cattaneo Law is studied. The classical Fourier law is replaced with the Non-Classical Maxwell-Cattaneo heat flux law in the energy equation. A linear stability analysis is performed to obtain the eigenvalues for free-free isothermal boundary conditions. The influence of the parameters like Cattaneo number, Prandtl number, and Visco-elastic parameter has been analysed and found that …

Microvita‑Inspired Informational Field Dynamics as a Nonlinear Signal‑Generation Mechanism in Matter–Life–Mind Systems
Abstract: Recognizing how matter, life, and consciousness relate to one another continues to be among the most essential challenges faced by modern science. Contemporary physical theories successfully describe the behavior of elementary particles and large-scale cosmological structures, yet they do not fully explain the emergence of informational complexity and organized patterns observed in biological and cognitive systems. Abstract: Retaining walls are used from historic times to prevent the outflow of river and create havoc in the cities. The most important function of a retaining wall is to prevent entering the water in cities by giving higher length than the flood level and different styles of wall are used to secure town from high water level. Finite element technique is used to numerically model the wall and predict its …

Artificial Intelligence–Assisted Reduced-Order Modeling and Stability Control in Granular Couette Flow
Abstract: This study develops a reduced-order and stability-aware modeling framework for dense granular Couette flow by integrating continuum mechanics, bifurcation analysis, and data-driven stability estimation. Starting from coupled governing equations for momentum, granular temperature, and microstructural evolution, the system is nondimensionalized and reduced using a Galerkin projection consistent with shear-driven boundary conditions. This yields a low-dimensional nonlinear dynamical system that preserves the essential coupling between velocity, fluctuation energy, and structural relaxation. …

A SEIR-Informed Stacked Fusion of Prophet, XGBoost, and LSTM for Ward-Level Epidemic Forecasting in Amravati Municipal Corporation
Abstract: Municipal epidemic preparedness depends on accurate short-horizon forecasts at fine spatial granularity. Ward-level incidence series are typically nonstationary due to changing contact patterns, interventions, reporting delays, and heterogeneous demographic and environmental factors. This paper presents a mathematically formulated hybrid forecasting architecture designed for Amravati Municipal Corporation (AMC). The method decomposes observed incidence into (i) a mechanistic SEIR baseline that enforces epidemiological structure and (ii) a data-driven residual learned using Prophet …

Enhancing Ship Roll Stabilization: Design of Active Fin Stabilizers Using Auto-Tuned PID Controllers
Abstract: The rolling motion of any type of mechanical system can be realized by the linear differential equation with some constant coefficient. In the domain of marine industries, it is observed that the stabilization of the ship’s roll motion is required due to the occurrence of the most unwanted water wave disturbances at the sea. It may cause serious types of damage to the equipment related to the ship. Active fin …

Physics-Adaptive Digital Twin with Neural-Operator Reduced-Order Modelling
Abstract: This study proposes a novel Physics-Adaptive Digital Twin with Neural-Operator Reduced-Order Modelling (PADT-NO) framework for predictive modelling of complex, nonlinear, and multiscale fluid flows. The proposed mathematical framework integrates fundamental conservation laws, Navier–Stokes dynamics, physics-constrained neural operators, adaptive reduced-order modelling, and uncertainty-aware state estimation within a unified computational architecture. Unlike conventional computational fluid dynamics and purely data-driven approaches, the proposed model dynamically couples high-fidelity physical information with a low-dimensional latent …

Differential Model of Wave Vibration on Strings and Rods
Abstract: Vibration, as a physical phenomenon, plays a multifaceted role in both natural and engineered systems. Beyond its essential contribution to communication through sound and speech, it finds critical application in various technological domains. For instance, in the design of stringed musical instruments such as violins and guitars, precise manipulation of string vibrations defines tonal quality and musical resonance. Similarly, metal rods in tuning forks exhibit vibrational properties that are finely …

Review on Main Equations for Measuring Spray Properties in Centrifugal Injectors
Abstract: The method of fuel injection has a significant effect on the stability and proper mixing of fuel and oxidizer, which is done by the injector. In other words, the injector is a device that converts fluid into droplets. The faster and better the particle crushing rate, the faster the fluid particles will evaporate, resulting in higher thermal efficiency and higher thrust force. Therefore, how to inject fuel into the combustion …

Linear Stability Analysis of Taylor-Couette Flow with and without Viscous Heating
Abstract: This paper presents linear stability analysis of the incompressible viscous flow between the two concentric counter rotating cylinders. The parallel flow assumption is applied; hence the mean flow is the function of radial coordinate only. The main objective of this study is to explore the effect of the viscous heating, Nahme number and radius ratio (Ratio of inner to outer cylinder radius, η) on the stability characteristics of Taylor-Couette flow. …

Finite Difference Analysis of Plane Couette Flow using MATLAB
Abstract: Internal flow is a flow for which the fluid is confined by a surface. Hence, the boundary layer is unable to develop without eventually being constrained. An internal flow is constrained by the bounding walls, and the viscous effects will grow and meet and permeate the entire flow. Some examples of internal flows are: flow between two parallel horizontal plates, Couette flow, plane Poiseuille flow, flow through pipes, etc. In …
