Polymer Waste-Derived Activated Carbon from PET for High-Efficiency Supercapacitor Electrodes
Abstract: The exponential increase in plastic waste, particularly Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET)—a polymer characterized by its repeating aromatic terephthalate units and ester linkages—has escalated into a global environmental crisis. This study details a low-cost synthesis of porous carbon materials derived from waste PET via pyrolysis followed by chemical activation with calcium hydroxide (Ca(OH)2). Synthesis, Characterization and Antibacterial Activity of Mono- and Binuclear Co(II) and Cr(III) Mixed-Ligand Complexes Derived from α-Amino Acid and 1,10- Phenanthroline with 1,3-Diaminopropan as a Spacer
Abstract: Mixed-ligand complexes of Co(II) and Cr(III) ions were synthesized from the reaction of metals chloride salts with α-amino acid (H2L1) as a primary ligand and 1,10-phenanthroline (L2) as secondary ligand. The ligand 2-(benzo[d]thiazol-2-ylamino)-2-(2-hydroxynaphthalen-1-yl) acetic acid (H2L1) has been synthesized from the condensation reaction of inobenzothiazol with 2-hydroxy-1-naphthaldehyde in the presence of HCN as three components–one pot reaction. H2L1 considered as a tridentate chelater of ONO-coordination binding type toward the metals, …

Molecular Docking Studies of Wildtype P53 with Damnacanthal and Scopoletin- Phytochemicals Derived from Morinda Citrifolia
Abstract: Cancer is a prominent cause of mortality globally, and it has the potential to impact any region of the body. The tumor suppressor protein P53 plays a significant role in inhibiting tumor growth by regulating DNA repair, inducing cell cycle arrest, promoting senescence, and triggering apoptosis when confronted with genotoxic stress. P53 is found mutated in 50% of cancers where it loses its tumor suppressive properties and gains oncogenic properties …

Molecular Docking studies of Benzodiazepine Derivatives With GABA(B) Receptor
Abstract: Benzodiazepines (BZDs) are pharmacologically significant compounds that act by binding to GABA A neurotransmitter receptors, subsequently augmenting GABA-induced chloride ion flux, consequently inducing neuronal hyperpolarization. Benzodiazepines are commonly used in the treatment of sleep disorders, anxiety, muscle spasms, seizure disorders, and some forms of depression. The primary inhibitory neurotransmitter, GABA, functions on two types of receptors: the ligand-gated GABA A/C receptors and the G protein-coupled GABA B receptors. These neurotransmitters …
