Aluminium in Libyan Cereals and Its Daily Intake Assessment
Abstract: Dietary aluminium intake in Libya was estimated by consuming cereals. Aluminium concentrations of wheat, barley, corn, and rice were determined by inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (ICP-MS). Aluminium content in cereals ranged from 0.62 to 40 mg/kg. The daily dietary aluminium intakes from wheat, barley, corn, and rice were 7.86, 0.56, 0.018 and 0.115 mg/day, respectively, however, for all cereals was 8.56 mg/day. The mean weekly percentages of the provisional tolerable …

Key of Certification to Scheme Nano Fertilizer
Abstract: compared with traditional fertilizers. Classes of nanofertilizers have suggested as nanoscale fertilizer i.e. nanoparticles which contain nutrients; nanoscale additives i.e. traditional fertilizers with nanoscale additives; and nanoscale coating i.e. traditional fertilizers coated or loaded with nanoparticles. Low nutrient use efficiency (NUE) values and increased environmental risks have subjected long-term limitation due to use of more synthetic fertilizers to prohibit defining achievements of sustainable agriculture. Integration of Green-Synthesized Calcium Nanoparticles in Natural Polymer Matrices by Bio-Nanocomposite Approach to Calcium Fortification
Abstract: Calcium deficiency continues to pose a widespread nutritional challenge, particularly in vulnerable populations. In this study, a bio-nanocomposite-based fortification strategy was developed using calcium nanoparticles (CaNPs) synthesized via green chemistry from Sesbania grandiflora (Agathi keerai) leaf extract. The nanoparticles, ranging between 50–150 nm in size, were characterized by SEM and embedded into buckwheat flour a naturally polymer-rich food matrix containing proteins, starch, and dietary fibers. The resulting system mimicked polymer …

Review of Post-consumer Plastics and Pyrolysis Technology
Abstract: In both industrial and residential products, synthetic polymers are widely used. Since synthetic polymers are made from fossil fuels, they cannot decompose. disposal of plastic solid waste (PSW) has threatened the ecosystem seriously. In this article, we examine the various post-consumer PSW thermo-chemical recycling techniques. A method that has shown promise for converting PSW into valuable hydrocarbon compounds is pyrolysis. PSW has been broken down through thermal decomposition, however, value-added …

Immunomodulatory and Prebiotic Activities of White Oat β-glucans (Avena sativa L.) and the Potential for a Food-base Ecofriendly Therapy
Abstract: Intestinal health is an important sanitary factor for animals and humans and is closely related to the microbiota population of the gastrointestinal tract. Correlated to this fact is the diet that is consumed, which is fundamental for the development and proliferation of ‘beneficial’ bacteria. Modulation of the intestinal microbiota can be achieved by the prebiotic activity of some polysaccharides, which are fermented by these bacteria after being able to pass …
