Abstract

compared with traditional fertilizers. Classes of nanofertilizers have suggested as nanoscale fertilizer i.e. nanoparticles which contain nutrients; nanoscale additives i.e. traditional fertilizers with nanoscale additives; and nanoscale coating i.e. traditional fertilizers coated or loaded with nanoparticles. Low nutrient use efficiency (NUE) values and increased environmental risks have subjected long-term limitation due to use of more synthetic fertilizers to prohibit defining achievements of sustainable agriculture. High release levels of synthetic fertilizers than plant uptake levels have subjected changes in forms of nutrients, henceforth natural nutritional level has not been undertaken bioavailability to plants by nature’s policy i.e. result of low NUE values. Sustainable agriculture has been renovated to enhance food production and protect natural and environmental resources by nanotechnology. Otherwise, modification of current synthetic utility in modern agriculture systems has been to increase the efficacy of agrochemicals. Use of nanoparticles (NPs) has subjected agricultural sectors to scheme resources of effectible fertilizers i.e. fertilizer efficiency. Defining agri-cum-sustenance achievement has retrospect assignment from nanotechnology interrupted fertilizers said as nanofertilizers (NFs), which has increased food production to feed assigned deserve of reserve. Microwave-assisted hydrothermal synthesis technique has been a method for preparation of these elements in the form of their respective oxides as nanofertilizers. Chemistry of metal oxide nanoparticle synthesis by microwaves has been a facile, fast, secure, controllable, and energy-saving process. Effective ways to control particle size distribution and macroscopic morphology during the synthesis process have been linked to the efficacy of such nanofertilizers towards growth and yield of squash. Subjective fertilization process has been accomplished using each nano-oxide alone, then combined containment of two oxides lying as zinc-iron, zinc-manganese, and manganese-iron, as well as the three nano-oxides mixed composes.
