Performance Analysis and study of losses in GaAs Multi Junction Solar cells using Current and Voltage Measurements
Abstract: Cross section coordinated, triple-intersection sunlight based cells with strain repaid quantum spots (QDs) in the GaAs center cell were developed by Metal-Organic Chemical Vapor Deposition (MOCVD). Structures with various quantities of QD layers are contrasted with gauge structures with no QDs. Quantum proficiency and light I-V estimations show an expansion in hamper thickness and debasement of the open circuit voltage for QD sun powered cells. The QDs don't work on …

Experimental Analysis of Residual Stress, Micro-Hardness and Corrosion Behavior of HVOF Sprayed Composite Coating
Abstract: The utilisation of non-traditional composite coating materials, enhanced lubrication, and surface geometry optimisation have all contributed to the tribological performance. Piston rings are among the most crucial engine parts since friction causes between 40 and 45 percent of all energy loss. Fuel efficiency, power loss, and exhaust pollutants are all strongly impacted by the piston assembly's tribological performance. The present study's primary goal was to develop composite coating by using …

Iron Ore Beneficiation through Reverse Flotation: Advances in Nanobubble-Assisted Flotation Technology for Lean Grade Ore Upgradation and Silica Removal: A Review
Abstract: The global demand for high-grade iron ore concentrates continues to surge as readily available rich ores become depleted. Iron ore beneficiation through froth flotation has emerged as a critical technology for upgrading lean-grade iron ores (typically 25–35% Fe) to produce high-quality concentrates (64–70% Fe) suitable for direct reduction and blast furnace operations. This comprehensive review examines the fundamental principles of flotation in iron ore beneficiation, with particular emphasis on the …

Tailoring the Compressive Behavior of Tetrachiral Auxetic Structures Through FDM Process-Parameters
Abstract: This research evaluates how fused deposition modeling (FDM) fabrication process parameters affect the compressive behavior of tetrachiral auxetic structures created from Polylactic Acid (PLA). Auxetic materials have several useful properties, including reversible deformation and high-energy absorbing capabilities, which are beneficial to creating ultra-lightweight structural, protective, and shock-resistance designs. Among the available auxetic topologies, the tetrachiral configuration is particularly attractive for engineering use, because its rotation-dominated node–ligament deformation gives a negative …

Cloning and Expression of LPS-Binding Single Domain Antibody Clones Selected from Phage Display Library of Indian Desert Camel
Abstract: Despite the absence of light chains in their structure, camelid and shark “heavy chain antibodies” (HCAbs) variable domains (designated as VHH) are able to make functional paratopes. The authors have selected lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-binder “single-domain antibodies” (dAb) clones from the previously constructed phage display library of (LPS)-immunized Indian desert camel. This study was undertaken to make available large amounts of some LPS-binder dAb clones by using a suitable expression vector-host system …

Parametric Investigations of Melt Flow Index for Nylon6-Mica Composite Based Hybrid FDM Filament
Abstract: The development of new hybrid filaments with improved mechanical and thermal properties has been driven by the increasing need for high-performance materials in additive manufacturing. This study explores the parametric investigations of the Melt Flow Index (MFI) for Nylon6-Mica composite-based hybrid Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) filament. The investigation uses the Taguchi technique to examine how different extrusion temperatures, loads and the percentage of Mica filler affect the MFI, a critical …

Well Integrity and Reservoir Behavior under Sudden Field Shutdowns During Armed Conflicts: A Comprehensive Technical Review
Abstract: In the oil and gas industry, the sudden and unplanned cessation of operations resulting from armed conflicts or pandemics typically poses complex and multifaceted technical challenges to both well integrity and reservoir behavior. Minimal or no opportunity for proper pre-shutdown preservation procedures in unplanned shutdowns, unlike planned shutdowns that follow established operational protocols. The mechanisms and consequences of well integrity degradation and reservoir performance alteration under such conditions are synthesized …

Structure–Property Correlation of Infill Topology and Density on Tensile and Flexural Performance of FDM-Printed PLA and ABS
Abstract: Additive Manufacturing (AM), particularly Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM), has become a widely adopted manufacturing technology due to its design flexibility, low cost, and capability for rapid prototyping. However, the mechanical performance of FDM-printed components is strongly influenced by internal structural parameters such as infill pattern and infill density, in addition to the intrinsic material behaviour. This study investigates the structure–property relationship between infill topology, density, and mechanical performance of PLA …
