Experimental Analysis of Residual Stress, Micro-Hardness and Corrosion Behavior of HVOF Sprayed Composite Coating
Abstract: The utilisation of non-traditional composite coating materials, enhanced lubrication, and surface geometry optimisation have all contributed to the tribological performance. Piston rings are among the most crucial engine parts since friction causes between 40 and 45 percent of all energy loss. Fuel efficiency, power loss, and exhaust pollutants are all strongly impacted by the piston assembly's tribological performance. The present study's primary goal was to develop composite coating by using …

Investigation of Residual Stress, and corrosion behavior of AA6082/Al 2 O 3 /C/ Si 3 N 4 Composite Material
Abstract: The main objective of the current study was to create AA6082/ Al2O3/C/Si3N4 Composite Material by the use of stir casting. The properties of the AA6082/ Al2O3/C/ Si3N4 Composite Material shown a significant improvement, with a micro-hardness rise of 13.5% and a residual stress decrease of 60%. As the testing parameters were increased, the residual stress of the AA6082/ Al2O3/C/ Si3N4 Composite Material rapidly decreased from -65MPa to -15MPa. An electromagnetic …

Fabrication of Belt for Backpack for Students to Reduce the Musculoskeletal Disorders using ABS material 3D Printing
Abstract: In the present study, the design and development of a composite-based belt aim to reduce the excessive burden on the backs of schoolchildren, which often leads to musculoskeletal disorders (MSD). The belt is designed using CATIA 3D modeling software and fabricated on an FDM-based 3D printer with ABS polymer. The design process focuses on addressing physical stress caused by heavy backpacks and prolonged use of electronic devices, both of which …
