Expanding Hicks Contraction Theory, Multi-Valued Mappings in Generalized b-Menger Spaces
Abstract: This paper extends the Hicks contraction theory to multi-valued mappings within generalized b-Manger spaces, a class of metric-like structures that accommodate more flexible distance functions. By introducing new definitions, such as generalized admissibility conditions and weak compatibility in the multivalued sense, we provide a comprehensive analysis of how these contractions behave in broader topological and metric contexts. Our approach systematically generalizes classical contraction principles by relaxing conventional constraints, thereby broadening …

Orange Peels as Biosorbent for Heavy Metals and Its Application in Water Pollution Remediation Studies
Abstract: Ecosystems and public health are seriously threatened by heavy metal poisoning of water sources, which is growing. Heavy metal removal from wastewater using conventional technologies is either costly, ineffective, or results in secondary pollutants. In this regard, biosorption has become an affordable and environmentally beneficial substitute. The mitigation study of heavy metals from wastewater is crucial for the protection of the environment and human health. Efforts have been made to …

Revitalizing Urban Canyons Through Innovative Thermal Strategies
Abstract: Urban canyons, environments very densely made up of tall buildings clustered on narrow streets, are treacherous when it comes to considerable heat retention and greatly increase wind speeds. The resulting conditions fuel the Urban Heat Island effect. That means urban canyons feel very hot and this of course harms both comfort and health of those who dwell in them. This research tackles the serious issue of discomfort due to heat …
