Pharmacological evaluation of Hepatoprotective activity of Indian medicinal plants Cordia Myxa and Canscora diffusa on wistar albino rats
Abstract: Two plants (Cordia myxa and Canscora diffusa), which were claimed to possess hepatoprotective activity, were selected. The Selected plants were authenticated by an expert botanist. In the current study, herbal extraction involving solvents of decreasing polarity (petroleum ether, ethyl acetate, and hydroalcoholic) was used to extract bioactive compounds from the plants of Cordia Myxa and Canscora diffusa in polyherbal preparations. A phytochemical evaluation was performed, including an acute toxicity study …

Wireless Solar Charging Systems for Electric Vehicles: Technology, Design, and Implementation Challenges
Abstract: Higher standards for the ease, safety, and dependability of electric vehicle (EV) charging have been proposed in recent years due to the new energy sector's electrical vehicle (EV) rapid development. Inductive coupling is used for wireless power charging. Both stationary and dynamic situations can be used for inductive coupling. Low energy loss and reduced demands on the primary circuit are achieved by rearranging the transformer and changing the high frequency. …

Production of n-Butanol from Biomass by Two Step Fermentation Process Using Staphylococcus Sciuri
Abstract: This study explores the sustainable production of n-butanol from wheat husk through a two-step bioconversion process. Wheat husk, an abundant agricultural residue, was first fermented into butyric acid using Bacillus subtilis. The resultant butyric acid was then converted into n-butanol using Staphylococcus sciuri. The process leverages biological fermentation to create value-added chemicals from lignocellulosic biomass, offering an eco-friendly alternative to petrochemical methods. Two steps fermentation process were carried to increase …

Degradation of Building Materials by Corrosive Pollutants
Abstract: Fiber reinforced polymers (FRP) is used for the corrosion suppression of reinforced concrete structures (RCS). One of the main issues with reinforced concrete constructions is corrosion. It interacts with acids, alkalis and salts to produce disintegration in building materials components. Pollutants and effluents speed up disbanding inside and outside reinforced structures. Bio-wastes come in contact of building materials to develop miro and macro-organism and these organisms release acid substances to …

Sustainable Membrane Technologies for Environmental and Industrial Applications: A Review
Abstract: Membrane-based technologies have become indispensable in addressing global environmental and industrial challenges, including water scarcity, pollution control, and energy efficiency. While conventional membranes provide high selectivity and process efficiency, their sustainability is limited by factors such as fouling, high energy consumption, and end-of-life waste management. Recent advances in material science, nanotechnology, and bio-inspired design have led to the emergence of sustainable membranes with improved durability, lower environmental footprint, and broader …

Activated Carbon Materials as Ideal Adsorbents for the Desulfurization of Fossil Fuels
Abstract: Removal of organosulfur compounds from diesel is of interest from scientific, social, economic, and environmental viewpoints. Production of clean fuel remains a primary goal of the petroleum refining industry. The reduction of sulfur content below stringent ppm levels in diesel fuels becomesincreasingly challenging due to the presence of sterically hindered sulfur compounds, such as 4,6- dialkyldibenzothiophenes, which are resistant to removal over conventional supported mixed sulfide hydrodesulfurization catalysts. Consequently, alternative …

The Architecture of Creek Road Market and the Image of Port Harcourt Metropolis, Rivers State, Nigeria
Abstract: Marketplaces are seen as centers of attraction in every city. Therefore, the architecture of marketplaces should be given extensive attention to attract a positive image of the city. If the architecture of a market lacks functionality, it will affect the perception of the city. Often, market designers ignore the key users of the market space and focus on providing profit-oriented spaces. This leads to the spillover of trading activities by …

Everlasting Life Achieved Through Technology in AI
Abstract: The concept of immortality Life is a philosophical idea that states life is limitless and does not stop with death, it exists infinitely. In our Sanskrit scriptures and Santana dharma teach us that there is a life of beginning and an end, which are referred to as birth and death but our souls do not perish, instead, they switch bodies. In this scenario, our memories have evaporated to protect our …

Artificial Intelligence in Early Diagnosis and Personalized Treatment of Alzheimer’s Disease
Abstract: Artificial intelligence (AI) has become a disruptive technology in the medical care industry, with potential solutions to early diagnosis and customized treatment of Alzheimer’s disease (AD), a progressive neurodegenerative disease and the most prevalent cause of dementia globally. Conventional diagnostic techniques, such as cognitive, neuroimaging and biomarker techniques, are usually limited in the ability to detect disease at its most susceptible stage when treatment interventions are most effective. The recent …
