Effect of Thickness in Electroluminescence Spectra on 2-5 Dialoxy-PPV (ROPPV) Films
Abstract: The optical properties and electroluminescence (EL) of ROPPV (2-5-dialoxy-PPV) films of various thicknesses have been studied. The thickness of ROPPV layer on glass slide was measured by Fizeau fringes interferometric technique which varied from 200 to 400 nm. The absorption spectra show that the absorption occurred only in ultraviolet region. Thick films show only one peak at 310 nm, whereas by decreasing the thickness, the peaks are obtained at lower …

An Ultra Wideband Hexagonal Patch Antenna with Enhanced Bandwidth
Abstract: A microstrip line feed Ultra-Wideband (UWB - 3.1 to 10.6 GHz) hexagonal patch antenna with enhanced bandwidth was presented in this article. The enhancement of bandwidth (BW) is achieved by defecting the partial ground structure. The antenna is designed by FR-4 substrate with εr(dielectric constant) = 4.3 & Tan δ (loss tangent) = 0.025.Initially, a conventional hexagonal patch with a partial ground plane produces a – 10 dB bandwidth of …
