Deep Plate: A Deep Learning Approach to Recipe Generation from Food Images
Abstract: In the deep learning era, image understanding is advancing in sophistication, encompassing both semantic interpretation and the generation of meaningful image descriptions. To achieve this, deep neural networks must undergo specific cross-model training; these networks must be both simple enough to handle a wide range of inputs and complex enough to encode the fine contextual information associated with the image. An appropriate example of the previously described picture comprehension problem …

New Design Formulae for Safety and Precision in the Fatigue Engineering of Mechanical Components and Structures
Abstract: This paper introduces two new formulae, termed the Nori Fatigue Formulae, for determining the maximum allowable fatigue stress in mechanical components and structures with significant stress concentrations. These formulae will eliminate the usage of code-sensitive safety factors along with other factored values from the entire mechanical design engineering work, ranging from a safety pin to spacecraft. The first formula gives the maximum allowable fatigue stress in tension, and the second …

Visualization of genomic sequence in BRCA1 and BRCA2
Abstract: Heredity is the main reason of breast cancer in women and mutation or genetic variations also another reason for the spread of breast cancer. Heredity and genetic variations are responsible 5%-10%, 30%-50% respectively. There are 90% chances of developing neoplasm by the mutations. The effect of BRCA1 and BRCA2 may leads to the variations in DNA therefore it should be in limited amounts so that there will be minimum changes …

Green Hydrogen Revolution: Technological Developments and Environmental Evaluations
Abstract: As a major fuel source for the future, hydrogen energy has received great support from the public, government, and business community. Two significant barriers to cleaning hydrogen commercialization are the high cost of production and the slow expansion of the infrastructure. Numerous hydrogen production techniques are classified using color codes; the most popular option is green hydrogen, which is produced using sustainable resources like solar and wind energy. Green hydrogen …

Educating Compilers to Learn: Utilizing Machine Learning for More Brilliant Code Optimization
Abstract: This study explores the use of machine learning (ML) approaches to compiler optimization. The now-traditional static compilation techniques are transformed into adaptive, dynamic systems capable of making context-specific advancements. Traditional compilers rely mostly on heuristic or rule-based optimization techniques. While these techniques work well in general cases, they consistently fail to adapt well within the limits of code structures that modern machines display. This limitation is especially acute in today's …

Enhancement of LVRT Capability in DFIG based Microgrids Using STATCOM
Abstract: The improvement of a grid-connected wind microgrid's Low Voltage Ride-Through (LVRT) capability using a Static Synchronous Compensator (STATCOM) is investigated in this research. The increasing penetration of wind energy into modern power systems necessitates advanced control strategies to maintain grid stability during voltage disturbances and fault conditions. In this study, a STATCOM is employed with an effectively tuned PI controller to provide enhanced dynamic response, voltage regulation, and reactive power …

Application of Thermal Spray Coatings for Corrosion Control in Oil and Gas Refineries
Abstract: In today’s context, Thermal Spray Coating (TSC) has emerged as a highly durable and reliable alternative to traditional Hot-Dip Galvanizing (HDG). It is increasingly being adopted for both new and existing industrial structures due to its long-lasting protection—often exceeding 25 years—while requiring little to no maintenance. Unlike HDG, which cannot be welded on-site and often poses challenges with repair methods such as liquid coating or cold spray, TSC offers greater …

Predictive Modeling of Polymer Composites for Medical Implants Using Artificial Intelligence Techniques
Abstract: The use of polymers in biomaterials was now key to designing the next generation of medical implants, which need to be strong and also compatible with living tissue. Tests for biocompatibility, such as those done in the laboratory and by doing experiments on animals, require much time and many resources, so the need for computer-based approaches becomes clear. An artificial intelligence approach was provided in this study to determine how …

Reconfigurable AES Based AEAD For Multi-Mode Operation with Lightweight Compatibility
Abstract: The proposal is for a lightweight, multi-mode, reconfigurable authenticated encryption system with associated data (AEADs) based on AES. It is challenging to effectively integrate different AEADs in hardware because each one has its own mode of operation and/or subfunctions, even though some major AEADs share several basic components (such as the XOR-Encryption-XOR (XEX) scheme, block chaining, and advanced encryption standard (AES). This paper proposes hardware that effectively combines the basic …

Paternal Pre-Pubertal Smoking: Small RNAs, Lasting Marks, and the Hidden Legacy of Early Exposure
Abstract: While the negative effects of maternal smoking during pregnancy are well-established, the lasting and transgenerational impact of paternal pre-pubertal smoking remains a critical, underexplored area. Emerging evidence in sperm epigenetics suggests that cigarette exposure during early male development may create persistent molecular imprints that can affect the health of future offspring. This phenomenon is rooted in the fact that heredity extends beyond the DNA sequence. Sperm carry a complex epigenetic …

Pharmacophore mapping, 3D QSAR, docking, and ADME prediction studies of novel Benzothiazinone derivatives
Abstract: Background Tuberculosis is a major public health concern worldwide which is caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis. DprE1 (Decaprenyl Phosphoryl Ribose 2’- Epimerase) is the most challenging target for development of novel anti- tubercular agents because it is a small protein and located into cytoplasmic membrane. So, novel anti-TB drugs did not bound effectively with it. DprE1 catalyzes the oxidation of the 2’ hydroxyl group of DPR (Decaprenyl Phosphoryl D- Ribose) …
