Abstract: This study developed and assessed a herbal gel comprising extracts of betel leaf (Piper betle) and clove (Syzygium aromaticum) for topical use. Herbal extracts were prepared by Soxhlet extraction and analyzed for yield, phytochemical profile and total phenolic content (TPC).
