Analysis of Dispersion Compensation System for PON using Different Schemes
Abstract: In this paper, dispersion compensation techniques are discussed for better communication. Different schemes like pre-compensation, post- compensation and symmetrical compensation of DCF with NRZ and Manchester modulation format. To compensate the dispersion of fiber, DCF is used. A Novel Technique for Improvement in Front-to-Back Ratio of MSA for WLAN/WiMAX using Corrugated Dielectric Substrate as a Reflector
Abstract: In this paper the design of a microstrip antenna (MSA) with corrugated dielectric reflector is proposed to improve the front-to-back ratio (FBR) and reduce the back lobes in radiation pattern of the antenna. The designed antenna operates at 5.8 GHz and simulated on CSTMWS’10 software. Simulation results show that proposed antenna has 21.8 dB higher FBR than that of conventional MSA.
