Summarizer: A Single Document text summarization using Hybrid Approach
Abstract: Summarization task is a process of diminishing the size of the input text, without altering its overall meaning, by selecting only the significant parts of the input text as an output. Summary of a text can be obtained either by an abstractive approach or an extractive approach. Our system is a hybrid system (that is the combination of abstractive and extractive approach). The first stage of this system is to …

A Novel Approach for Performance Analysis of Dynamic Information Integration
Abstract: AbstractData analysis and management was not a problem few years ago as the amount of data generated was not as huge as to cause any complexity. But in the recent years the amount of data being generated has increased exponentially. Thus management and analysis has become a problem since the traditional database management systems were not designed to handle such large amounts of data. The relational database management systems still …

Design and Evaluation of High Bandwidth Micro-strip Patch Antenna Arrays for WLAN Applications
Abstract: Micro-strip antennas are preferred to WLAN applications because of their low profile, light weight and low power handling capacity. In this paper, micro-strip patch antenna (MSPA) arrays are designed and analyzed. The target frequency range is at S-band with frequencies that range from 2 to 4 GHz. Antenna arrays are explored to achieve higher gain and improved bandwidth (BW). The key parameters to obtain this goal are antenna dimensions such …

Determination of Maximum Allowable Pump Speed for Transferring Fluid to a Vertical Height at Constant Power
Abstract: This work determines the maximum possible velocity fluids can be transported through a vertical height at constant pump power. The analysis involves simulation of theoretical piping equations and analysis of the pump pressure, frictional pressure drop and static (atmospheric) pressure with respect to flow velocity using MS excel and Matlab. Computational results obtained from MS excel and represented graphically in Matlab establish the maximum allowable velocity – below which the …

Determination of Gatifloxacin in Human Urine by Liquid Chromatography-Tandem Mass Spectrometry
Abstract: Gatifloxacin (GTF) is an antibiotic of the fourth-generation fluoroquinolone family that inhibits the bacterial enzymes DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV. A reliable, sensitive and selective isocratic reversed phase liquid chromatographic-tandem mass spectrometric (LC-MS-MS) method was developed to determine gatifloxacin (GTF) in human urine. GTF, in urine after solid-phase extraction with SPE cartridge, was analyzed on a C18 column (Symmetric 3.5 μm; 75×4.6 mm i.d) interfaced with a triple quadrupole tandem …

Speech Perception in Geriatric Population
Abstract: Ageing is one of the characteristic features seen in organisms of the animal kingdom; after birth via ageing first the development and maturation take place which when progresses with time results in degeneration and ultimately ends with the end of the life cycle of the organism. As humans are no different; our maturation phase starts right after birth, which results in complete maturation by the time humans reach adulthood [1]. …
