Analytical Method Development and Validation for the Simultaneous Estimation of Elvitegravir and Cobicistat by RP-HPLC Method
Abstract: A new method was established for simultaneous estimation of Elvetigravir and Cobicistat by RP-HPLC method. The chromatographic conditions were successfully developed for the separation of Elvetigravir and Cobicistat by using Xterra C18 5 µm (4.6×150 mm) column, flow rate was 1 ml/min, mobile phase ratio was phosphate buffer (0.05 M) pH 7: MEOH (30:70%v/v) (pH was adjusted with orthophosphoric acid), and the detection wave length was 270 nm. The instrument …

Formulation and Evaluation of Microballoons of Ramipril
Abstract: The present study was an attempt to develop microballoons of Ramipril to prolong gastric residence time in stomach and to control drug release in therapeutic range. Ramipril is ACE inhibitor having short half-life of 2–4 h and bioavailability 28%. Microballoon was formulated using Eudragit E100 and HPMC K4M in different ratios by emulsion solvent evaporation technique using methanol as evaporating solvent and liquid paraffin as a processing medium. Microballoons were …

Psychiatric Diseases: First Do No Harm—Evidence-Based Medicine
Abstract: Evidence-based drugs is an approach to medical practices that uses the results of patient care research and other available objectives evidence as a component of clinical decision making to provide the best drug equality. Evidence-based medicine (EBM) does not replace clinical judgment with the current best evidence. Evidence-based medicine seeks the best existing evidence from basic science to clinical research with which to inform clinical decision. Evidence-based medicine gives actual …

Synthesis and Biological Evaluation of Mannose Thiazolidinones
Abstract: In a one pot procedure, a series of novel mannose thiazolidinone derivatives 4a–g and 5a–g were prepared by condensation of (3aS, 4S, 6S, 6aS)-6-methoxy-2,2-dimethyltetrahydrofuro [3,4-d][1,3]dioxole-4-carbaldehyde-3 with mercapto acids and primary amines in presence of ZnCl2 under both micro wave irradiation and conventional heating conditions. Compound-3 was prepared from Methyl di acetone D-Mannose with primary acetonide deprotection and with oxidative cleavage. Characterization of new compounds has been done by means of …

Optimization of Mobile Phase and Stability—Indicating HPTLC Method for the Determination of Prasugrel Hydrochloride in Pharmaceutical Dosage Form
Abstract: A simple and sensitive high-performance thin layer chromatographic method was developed and validated for Prasugrel hydrochloride. It was spotted on silica gel 60F254 TLC plates, developed using toluene:methanol (9.9:0.1, v/v) as mobile phase and scanned at 258 nm using a Camag TLC Scanner IV. The Rf value of Prasugrel hydrochloride were found to be 0.53±0.03. It was found to be linear in the concentration range of 300–1500 ng/band. The limit …
