Reliability-Aware Mathematical Model for Radiation-Hardened Satellite Communication Systems
Abstract: Satellite communication systems operate in radiation environments in which total ionizing dose (TID), displacement damage, and single-event effects (SEE) can progressively degrade electronic, optoelectronic, and communication components and can ultimately reduce link availability and mission reliability. This paper develops a Reliability-Aware Radiation-Hardened Satellite Communication Model (R-RHSCM) that mathematically couples the orbital radiation environment, accumulated radiation dose, component degradation, communication-link performance, single-event failure probability, redundancy, thermal effects, and adaptive mitigation. The …

Disaster Impact Assessment Using Multi-Sensor Satellite Data: An AI-Based Remote Sensing Approach
Abstract: Natural disasters such as floods, earthquakes, and wildfires cause significant damage to human life and infrastructure every year. Rapid and accurate assessment of the affected areas is essential for effective disaster response and recovery planning. Traditional image-based analysis using single-sensor data often fails under adverse conditions such as cloud cover, smoke, or poor lighting. To overcome these limitations, this study proposes a novel framework for disaster impact assessment using multi-sensor …

The Analysis of Bridge Rectifier Circuits using Mathematica
Abstract: This paper addresses the steady-state and transient analysis of bridge rectifiers. It starts withsuggesting an efficient representation of the diodes. A single equation that describes thediode’s performance in both the forward and reverse directions is presented. It implicitlytakes the voltage polarity into account. Without any loss of generality, the suggested method isapplied to the classical uncontrolled four-valve full-wave rectifier bridge configureuration. The effect of the load resistance and the eventual presence …

Risk Based Estimation in Construction Projects
Abstract: Final cost of a project is always subjected to many variables and assumptions. A single value estimate only represents one of the many possible conditions that can arise in the future. Hence a cost estimate should be represented as a range of values rather than a single value. Construction projects are complex project which involve many uncertainties. Uncertainties in activities can be a threat to the project objective or an …

A Study to Assess the Stress and Anger Management by Deep Breathing Exercise and Meditation Among Adolescent Nursing Students at a Selected Nursing School in Delhi
Abstract: Introduction: Stress is a response that can lead to physical, emotional, or psychological strain. It is a frequent occurrence in daily life. Stress acts as the body's natural mechanism for defense against potential threats and dangers. It initiates a release of hormones that ready the body's functions to either confront danger head-on or retreat, commonly known as the fight-or-flight reaction. Anger can be caused by both external and internal events …

Anthrax Toxin Time-Resolved Absorption and Resonance FT-IR and Raman Biospectroscopy and Density Functional Theory (DFT) Investigation of Vibronic-Mode Coupling Structure in Vibrational Spectra Analysis
Abstract: Anthrax toxin is a three-protein exotoxin that is secreted by the bacterium's virulent strains, the anthrax causative agent Bacillus anthracis. Harry Smith first found the toxin in 1954. Anthrax toxin consists of a protein called a protective antigen (PA) binding cell protein and two enzyme parts called an edema factor (EF) and a deadly factor (LF). These three protein components act together to impart their physiological effects. Assembled complexes containing …

Ayurveda Approach to Primary Snoring through Panchakarma—A Case Study
Abstract: Purpose: Snoring is vibratory noise generated from the pharynx and soft palate as the air passes through this narrowed space. Further narrowing produces louder snoring, laboured inspiration and eventually apnoeic episodes. Social consequences are the usual reason for the patient to seek help. They can be distressing, banishment from the bedroom, marital disharmony, no holidays, fear of travelling, or falling asleep in a public place etc. Method: This is a …

Semiring-Weighted Automata and Recursive Path Counting for Multi-State Reliability in Discrete Infrastructures
Abstract: Multi-state infrastructures such as communication backbones, microgrids, warehouse routing systems, and sensor-actuator pipelines evolve through discrete event sequences rather than through a single binary "working/failed" transition. This paper develops a semiring-weighted automata framework for reliability analysis in which state changes, repair actions, and degraded operating modes are represented by weighted transitions on a finite automaton. A path valuation is defined over an additively idempotent reliability semiring and extended to a …
