Role of Strontium in Structural and Dielectric characterstics of Barium Titanate
Abstract: Ba₀.₇₅Sr₀.₂₅TiO₃ (BST) compound was synthesized through the conventional solid-state reaction methodology, aimed at investigating its structural, microstructural, and dielectric characteristics. The structural characterization was executed employing X-ray diffraction (XRD), and the resultant diffraction patterns were refined utilizing the Rietveld method, which substantiated the establishment of a single-phase perovskite configuration exhibiting tetragonal symmetry and belonging to the P4mm space group. The refined lattice parameters revealed subtle distortions correlating with the substitution …

Ferroelectric Materials for Next-Generation Non-Volatile Memory Applications
Abstract: The continuous scaling of conventional memory technologies is increasingly constrained by limitations in power consumption, speed, endurance, and integration density. As data-intensive applications such as artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, and edge computing demand fast and energy-efficient memory solutions, alternative non-volatile memory technologies have gained significant attention. Ferroelectric materials, characterized by their reversible spontaneous polarization, offer a promising pathway toward next-generation non-volatile memory due to their intrinsic non-volatility, low operating …

Circularly Polarized Compact Wide Slot Microstrip-Fed Antenna for Wideband Applications
Abstract: Abstract: This paper presents a circularly polarized (CP) compact wide slot microstrip–fed antenna for wideband applications. Inverted L-shape protruding stub from the ground plane towards the center of slot permits to obtain AR <3dB. Wide slot fed with an offset microstrip feedline at an offset distance d, beneath the protruded stub. Proposed CP wide slot (WS) antenna is designed with compact size of 25 mm x 25 mm. Simulated results …

A Novel Antenna Design based on a Single UC-PBG Layer of High Gain for Wireless Power Transfer
Abstract: In this study, a brand-new, highly effective antenna design is put forth to provide a directional radiation pattern with a small beam width for wireless power transfer. The proposed antenna is constructed from a cross-shaped patch of square holes. A favorable eclipse is paired with the antenna patch to provide circular polarization-symmetrical radiation. A symmetrical quadrature stare-shaped unit cell has a uniform compact photonic bandgap layer (UC-PBG) on top of …

DC and RF Analysis on Specific Quantum-Well Heterostructures
Abstract: Polarization-graded AlGaN back-barrier nano-layer is introduced in high electron mobility transistor (HEMT) structure to have an improved drain current characteristics and better radio-frequency performance, using two-dimensional drift-diffusion simulation by SILVACO-ATLAS physical simulator. In this work, the AlGaN/AlN/GaN/AlGaN/GaN double heterojunction HEMT structure is optimised with graded back barrier layer to study the DC and RF performances. Investigation of this structure with graded back barrier layer is the novelty of this work. …

Simulation of Electric Field Induced by Electromagnetic Radiation on Spherical Nanoparticles
Abstract: AbstractIn this article, the interaction of light and matter of nanoparticles is simulated for the electric field induced by electromagnetic radiation on spherical nanoparticles. The absorption, scattering and extinction efficiencies are demonstrated for initial wavelength of the incident of light from 300 nm to the final wavelength at 900 nm range for the silver material of 250 nm (spherical nanoparticles) radius with 1.0 refractive index. These optical properties vary according …
