Efficient Computation of Point Multiplication in the Implementation of Elliptic Curve Cryptography
Abstract: In recent times, elliptical curves have been used for public-key cryptographic and signature schemes in information security. The security provided by elliptic curve cryptographic protocols, either using signature or public-key encryption, is entirely based on the discrete logarithm problem. The discrete logarithm problem says that for a given a point Q that is a certain multiple k of a fixed point P, how to find the value of k in …

Speeding up Simultaneous Scalar Multiplication on Elliptic Curves
Abstract: Scalar multiplication is the basic and most expensive operation in elliptic curve based cryptographic protocols. It is the computation of integer multiple of a given point on the curve. Computation of scalar multiple is faster by using signed binary representation as compared to binary representation. Direct- recoding is a new and efficient algorithm for computation of signed binary representation as compared to the existing methods like NAF, MOF and complementary …

Privacy Preserving of Vertically Partitioned Data Using Elliptical Curve Cryptography
Abstract: Data mining's privacy problems have become a big problem as a result of financial considerations. This work investigates the topic regarding the issue of privacy-preserving global association rule analysis over several parties in vertically partitioned data to efficiently prevent hidden trends and perform computations across the parties while respecting the privacy of their data. After that, it suggests using Shamir's method of secret sharing to support distributed mining of association …

The Evolution of Bio Crypt Keys: From Concept to Implementation
Abstract: With the rapid increase in data exfiltration due to cyber-attacks, Covert Timing Channels (CTCs) have emerged as a significant and sophisticated network security threat. These channels exploit inter-arrival times of data packets to exfiltrate sensitive information from targeted networks. Detecting CTCs increasingly relies on machine learning techniques, which use statistical metrics to differentiate between malicious (covert) and legitimate (overt) traffic flows. However, as cyber-attacks become more adept at evading detection …

Synthesis of Coupler Curve on Optimizing a Four-Bar Mechanism with Ternary Linkage Using Genetic Algorithm
Abstract: AbstractDesigning of an intricate shaped coupler curve requires assembling of complex synthesis process in relationship with the linkages of a mechanism. This work is an attempt to address curvilinear path synthesis problem on designing and optimizing a four-bar mechanism with ternary linkage whose coupler tip traces an in-demand curve with enhanced fitness level. Coupler-curve equations of the mechanism have been derived in relationship with the linkages; in the follow-up, a …

Abstract: As per recent studies it is feasible to perform public key cryptographic operations on resource-constrained sensor platforms. But the problem is energy consumption introduced by public key operations makes any public key-based protocol an easy target of Denial-of-Service attacks. For example, if digital signature schemes like Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm are used directly for broadcast authentication without further protection, an attacker can simply broadcast fake messages and force the …
