Abstract: This study was aimed at the visual and anatomical outcome of the conventional sclera buckling procedure performed for primary rhegmatogenous retinal detachment. Fifty eyes of 50 patients of RRD were studied. Preoperative data included patient’s gender, lens status (phakic, aphakic, visually significant cataract, pseudophakia), history of trauma, ocular surgery, macular detachment and preoperative BCVA. Cases were stratified into four BCVA groups, both pre- and postoperatively. There were 21 males (42%) …

Performance of Structure with Fixed Base and Lead Rubber Bearing: Review
Abstract: Base Isolation approach is the most normally used method to defend a shape from earthquake. The thinking in the back of this approach is to detach the superstructure from floor with the aid of introducing bendy isolators between basis and superstructure. These isolators soak up electricity or vibrations and shield shape from an earthquake. Since the last fifteen years, the base isolation technique has been regarded as one of the …

Effect of Leading-Edge Roughness on the Aerodynamic Characteristics of the Wind Turbine blade
Abstract: Leading-Edge Roughness (LER) strongly dictates boundary layer transition and performance degradation on an airfoil operating at transitional Reynolds numbers, an aerodynamic regime where shear-layer stability mechanisms remain highly complex. The wind tunnel experiments were conducted to investigate the aerodynamic impacts of surface roughness applied over 25% of the chord of a NACA 0018 airfoil using two discrete roughness gradations. Surface roughness induces an early boundary layer trip, causing elevated section …
