Edge Preserving Image De-noising using Adaptive Thresholding
Abstract: This paper proposes a new image denoising method that is the wavelet threshold denoising of image based on edge detection. Before denoising, wavelet coefficients of an image are first detected, that correspond to edges. Then, the detected coefficients i.e. edges will be preserved from denoising by reducing the threshold coefficient of the original threshold then apply the reduced threshold and this will further protect edges from any damage. In this …

Image Preprocessing Techniques
Abstract: ABSTRACTPreprocessing method is an important step, specifically for low-quality picture images. This method is robust to lighting variations and produces images with very little noise and consistent stroke width. The process computes a “surface” of background intensities at every point in the image that performs adaptive thresholding based on this result. The surface is estimated by identifying regions of low resolution text and interpolating neighboring background intensities into these regions. …

Fatigue Detection using Artificial Intelligence to Prevent Accident
Abstract: Each year many people lose their lives due to road accidents around the world. Major accidents are due to drowsy driving. Fatigue and micro sleep of the driver are often the root cause of serious accidents. However, initial signs of tiredness can be detected before a critical situation arises. The method used to detect drowsiness are based on behavioral aspects while some are intrusive and may distract drivers, while some …

Impact of Climate Change on Ecosystems
Abstract: Climate change poses significant threats to ecosystems worldwide, altering temperature regimes, precipitation patterns, and accelerating habitat loss and fragmentation. In this review article, we examine the multifaceted impacts of climate change on ecosystems, focusing on biodiversity loss and disruptions to ecosystem services. Firstly, we discuss the direct effects of rising temperatures and changing precipitation patterns on species distributions, phenology, and habitat suitability. We then explore the consequences of habitat loss …

A Threshold-Weighted Mathematical Fusion Model for Epidemic Outbreak Prediction Using SEIR Residual Dynamics and Cloud-Based Machine Learning
Abstract: Accurate prediction of epidemic outbreaks is critical for effective public health management, resource planning, early warning generation, and timely intervention by municipal authorities. Traditional compartmental models such as Susceptible–Exposed–Infectious–Recovered (SEIR) offer valuable epidemiological insights and mathematical interpretability; however, they may not adequately capture the complex nonlinear relationships present in real-world urban health systems. Conversely, data-driven machine learning techniques can identify hidden patterns in large datasets but often lack epidemiological structure …

Rising Temperatures and Surface Mass Loss in Greenland: Implications for Regional Glacier Dynamics and Global Sea Level Rise
Abstract: In Greenland, the ice sheet serves as one of the strongest indicators of global climate change, with consistently rising temperatures driving it toward an even more negative mass balance. Over the last two decades, warmer conditions have exacerbated surface melting, darkened ice, and resulted in feedback stimulating further loss. This study assesses how those temperature trends—particularly during summer peak months—have impacted the stability of Greenland's ice, and then, more importantly, …
