Theoretical Analysis of Volume/Weight Fraction of a Dual-Constituent Composite
Abstract: Conventional equations used in analysis of composite materials are modelled based on volume-averaging principle. The volume-averaging equations were re-evaluated to provide an alternative weight-averaging consideration as a result of the difficulty in practical determination of volume fraction of individual constituents of composite material, especially particulate composite.
