Abstract: The characteristics of sulphate, nitrate and total dissolved solid was monitored in treatment of water medium contaminated with petroleum hydrocarbon. Agro-based adsorbent was used at different operating temperature in a packed bed unit connected in series of 1, 2 and 3.
