The Future is Smelling: Exploring the Potential of e-Nose
Abstract: The human sense of smell, a complex and often underestimated faculty, allows us to perceive the world through volatile organic compounds (VOCs). This ability to detect and differentiate between aromas, flavors, and even potential hazards has inspired the development of the electronic nose, or e-nose. More than just a novelty, e-noses are rapidly becoming sophisticated analytical tools with applications that span across numerous industries. By mimicking the biological processes of …

pH-Triggered In-Situ Nasal Gel Systems for Migraine Therapy: A Review
Abstract: Intranasal drug delivery has gained considerable attention as a non-invasive route for delivering drugs to both systemic circulation and the central nervous system, particularly for the treatment of migraine. Traditional nasal formulations such as sprays and drops often show poor therapeutic performance due to rapid mucociliary clearance and limited retention within the nasal cavity. To overcome these challenges, in-situ gel systems have been designed, which transform from a liquid to …

A Surgical Exploration of the Mechanism and Regulation of the Respiratory System: A Conceptual Analysis
Abstract: The respiratory system plays a vital role in facilitating the movement of air in and out of the body, comprising a complex network of anatomical pathways. It is conventionally divided into two primary sections: the upper respiratory tract and the lower respiratory tract. Within the upper respiratory tract lie structures extending from the nasal passages down to the vocal cords, crucial for phonation. These vocal cords, composed of mucous membrane …

Conceptual Design and Static Model Analysis of Landing Gear
Abstract: An aircraft's landing gear system plays a critical role in effectively managing and dissipating kinetic energy generated during the landing impact, as well as mitigating vibrations induced by the aircraft's passage over irregular runway surfaces. This capability is indispensable for the proper functioning of a well-designed landing system. Among the various types of shock absorber landing gear systems employed in aircraft, the oleo-pneumatic shock absorber stands out as the most …

Effective Homoeopathic Management of Allergic Rhinitis: A Case Series Utilizing Hepar Sulph 30 and Histamine 30 with Dietary Modifications
Abstract: Background: Allergic rhinitis (AR), means our immune system intruded by some allergens which is typically a harmless substance. These allergens are found in the air we breathe, in the food we eat, in the water and fluids we drink. These allergens are attacking on our immune system and the immune system responds to the allergens by releasing histamine and chemical mediators that cause symptoms in the nose, throat, eyes, ears, …

Netra Roga Nidana : A Critical Review
Abstract: Ayurveda defines Indriyas as sense organs that acquire knowledge for the Atma. According to Acharya Charaka, Indriyas are instruments that distinguish between living and non-living things. Because the Panch Mahabhuta (five elements) contributed to the composition of Indriyas, different sense organs function differently. Indriyas exist in minute form within their Indriya adhishtanas (anatomical organs) and perform the function of perceiving senses and communicating that perception to the brain or body …
