Analysis of Water Content in Fire Resistant Hydraulic Fluids used in Coke Furnace Door Opening through Optical Waveguide
Abstract: AbstractThis paper attempts to measure the concentration of water in fire resistant hydraulic fluids used for opening of door in coke furnace through optical waveguide. The proposed model is a two dimensional photonic crystal structure with glass substrate consisting of air holes. Measurement principle is concentrated on linear variation of photonic band gap (PBG) along with concentration of fire resistant fluids infiltrated in air holes of photonic crystal structure. The …

Clinical study of ERAS programs for chronic anal diseases
Abstract: Background: ERAS protocols were implemented for the management of chronic anal diseases in our clinical setting.Patients and Methods: The clinical outcomes of these ERAS programs were systematically analyzed. Results: Our study revealed significant improvements with the implemented ERAS protocols. Specifically, the average time for healing with these protocols was 7.9±0.76 days, notably shorter compared to the previous standard protocols which averaged 14.3±0.4 days. Moreover, there was a marked reduction in postoperative …

Conceptual Study on Kukkutanda Pinda Sweda: A Review Article
Abstract: Swedana is a procedure that is most commonly used as Poorva-Karma (pre-operative) before any Panchakarma therapy. Swedana relieves from stiffness, heaviness, and coldness in the body. After Swedana, the body starts sweating and gives the feeling of lightness in the body. It can be performed by various methods. Pinda Sweda is based on the principle of Sankara Sweda. In this procedure, the materials are tied in a cloth and used …

Hydraulic and Thermal Performances of a Counter-Flow Heat Exchanger with Fins
Abstract: Computational analysis has been conducted to examine the flow and heat transfer characteristics in a two-dimensional iso-thermal-fluxed circular-duct fitted with fins. The computations are based on finite volume methods employed with the simple algorithm. Paper reports are based on the computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modelling studies on laminar flow heat transfer, friction factor and thermal performance of a counter-flow heat exchanger equipped with two types of tube insert, one including …

Unani Medicine Uncovered: Core Concepts And Quality Evaluations
Abstract: Unani medicine, a traditional healing system primarily reliant on herbal remedies, finds its roots in the ancient wisdom of Greek philosopher Hippocrates (460–377 BC) and his associates. Its evolution and prominence, however, owe much to the support of Persian and Arab empires before making its way to the Indian subcontinent around the mid-14th century. Unani practitioners believe that each individual possesses a unique temperament shaped by the interplay of four …

Implementation of Variable Random Data Generator
Abstract: Main objective of this paper is to design a hardware model for variable Random data generator module. The random generator module is designed based on the principle of LFSR (linear feedback shift registers). A LFSR is a shift register whose input bit is a linear function of its previous state. The register has a finite number of possible states; it must eventually enter a repeating cycle. However, an LFSR with …

A Hybrid Software Engineering Teaching Model (HSETM): Integrating Traditional and Contemporary Pedagogical Approaches
Abstract: Software engineering education faces a persistent dichotomy between traditional lecture-based instruction, which effectively delivers theoretical frameworks but inadequately develops practical competencies, and contemporary pedagogical approaches such as problem-based learning (PBL) and flipped learning, which enhance learner engagement but risk weakening theoretical foundations. This study proposes and empirically validates the Hybrid Software Engineering Teaching Model (HSETM), a systematic integration of traditional and contemporary pedagogical methods designed to overcome this dichotomy. Grounded …

Mucosal Vaccines in Fish: Novel Advances in Technology and Delivery: A Review
Abstract: Vaccines rely on the acquired immune system and prime an animal to a particular antigen so that on subsequent encounter; it is recognized and quickly destroyed. The vast majority of pathogens enter the body via the mucosal surfaces of the gastrointestinal, respiratory, and urogenital tracts, where they initiate mucosal infections that lead to systemic infections. There is strong evidence that an optimum mucosal immune response can prevent systemic infection and …
