Using the R Software to Conduct Network Meta-Analysis on Diabetes Data” h
Abstract: A meta-analysis's goal is typically to quantify the total treatment effect and draw conclusions regarding the differences in effects between the two treatments. Meta-analysis is a quantitative method for combining the findings of several studies in the social and medical sciences.. A meta-analysis might be of three typical forms. Network-wide, pairwise, and multivariate meta-analyses are all possible. The integrated assessment of more than two treatments is generally made possible by …

Early Pregnancy Levels of Fasting Glucose, HbA1c, and Adiponectin as Predictors of Gestational Diabetes Mellitus Among Pregnant Women in Tamil Nadu, India
Abstract: Background: Gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) is rapidly becoming a major public health issue across India, and Tamil Nadu continues to report some of the country’s highest incidence figures. Identifying women at elevated risk during the first trimester allows health workers to intervene early and improve outcomes for both mothers and babies. This research, therefore, examines whether fasting plasma glucose, glycated haemoglobin, and adiponectin measured at that initial visit can reliably …

Novel Approach for Automated Diagnosis of Diabetic Retinopathy
Abstract: Automated and early diagnosis of diabetic retinopathy is a crucial need. Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is the major cause of blindness among people. DR is a progressive disease classified according to the presence of various clinical abnormalities. It doesn’t have any visible symptoms till the disease is at late stage. Therefore, it necessary to detect DR at early stage and to ensure proper treatment. For early detection of DR, different automated …

Modeling of Patient of Type 1 Diabetes for Blood Glucose Control
Abstract: The recent development in the insulin delivery system is the automatic one. The blood glucose levels are controlled by the feedback loop. The initial success with the simple models in normalizing blood glucose level led to the improvement of the devices including variety of control system. The insulin delivery system to diabetic is a tedious job and doesn’t ensure proper performance and leads to various complications if the delivery of …

Predicting Eye Blindness by Detecting Exudates in the Retina of Human Eye
Abstract: Diabetic retinopathy is a condition where a person suffering from diabetes starts to loosen his vision slowly as the severity of the disease increases gradually. We can diagnose this condition by the fundus image of the retina of the human eye; although it is very complicated for doctors to predict the conditions just by seeing the fundus images. By detecting diabetic retinopathy at the earliest, we can protect patients from …

Anthropometric Measurements as Cardio-Metabolic Risk Factors Did Not Associate with Echocardiography Determinants in Type 2 Diabetes
Abstract: Obesity and Type 2 diabetes (T2D) are risk factors for cardiovascular events. Anthropometric measurements are considered as independent risk factors for these events. This study aimed to assess the link between anthropometric measurements that are considered as risk factors for cardiovascular events and echocardiography determinants in T2D. A total number of 50 T2D patients (20 males and 30 females) with a median age of 58.8 years were included in this …

Recombinant Lactobacillus helveticus PJ4-Down Regulates TLR4 Mediated Inflammatory Responses in Sucrose Induced Diabetic Rats: A Novel Therapeutic Approach
Abstract: High sucrose diet (HSD) is known to induce type 2 diabetes. Recombinant Lactobacillus helveticus PJ4 was constructed to express the InuJ gene under the xylose promoter resulting in the secretion of inulosucrase enzyme in gastrointestinal tract which polymerizes the fructose moiety of sucrose to inulin type fructans. L. helveticus (pSLP-InuJ-Vhb) transformant (LHI) was intragastrically administered to rats fed with HSD diet. The composition of fecal microbiota and short-chain fatty acids …

A Case of Chronic Pancreatitis with Stones may Present with Obstructive Jaundice and Diabetes: A Case Report
Abstract: Obstructive jaundice in chronic pancreatitis is generally caused by stenosis of the bile duct in the pancreas. Obstructive jaundice caused by the impaction of a pancreatic stone in the papilla is very uncommon. We report a case of obstructive jaundice caused by the impaction of pancreatic stones in the papilla. A 43 year-old male with chronic pancreatitis was admitted because of epigastric pain with diabetes mellitus. Ultrasonography revealed a strong …

Practical approach for Type 2 Diabetes: Role of DPP4 Inhibitors
Abstract: Dipeptidyl peptidase-4 inhibitors (DPP-4Is) have become essential in managing type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) due to their ability to enhance incretin hormone activity, which promotes insulin secretion and inhibits glucagon release. These agents effectively lower HbA1c levels by 0.5–1.0%, are weight-neutral, and have a low risk of hypoglycemia, making them suitable for a broad patient population, including the elderly. The antidiabetic market in India is vast. Gliptin as group row …

A Comprehensive Review of CNN-Based Framework for Multi-Sign Detection of Diabetic Retinopathy in Fundus Images Using Public Datasets
Abstract: Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is one of the main causes of vision impairment. Blindness prevention and effective treatment depend on early detection. A thorough deep learning-based framework for the automatic segmentation and simultaneous detection of exudates, hemorrhages, and microaneurysms – three important DR indicators – from retinal fundus images is presented in this work. These three pathological signs’ corresponding annotated image patches, along with background (no-sign) areas, were used to train …

A Review on Binge Eating Disorder in Youth with Diabetes Mellitus
Abstract: The repetitive scenes of voraciously consuming food without normal compensatory conduct, for example, regurgitating or purgative maltreatment are portrayed as binge dietary issue. It is exceptionally regular in the fat gathering, yet it is not restricted to those individuals. Many empirical studies and reports suggest that about 58% of young women (aged 18–30 years) with insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (IDDM) may be at high risk of developing eating disorders. Binge disorder …
