Emissivity and Dielectric Behavior of Red Soils of Dhule District at X-band Microwave Frequencies
Abstract: Using X-band (8.2 and 10.5GHz) experimentation, the fluctuation of the dielectric constant (ε’) and dielectric loss (ε’’) of soil samples with different moisture contents has been determined. After reaching a transition point, the value of (ε') grows gradually with moisture content before increasing quickly after that. Investigation of the Thermoelectric, Electronic Band Profile, and Structural Properties of Skutterudites Based on Cobalt and Antimony
Abstract: We investigated ThCo4Sb12, an actinium-filled skutterudite, from the ground up for structural, electronic, and thermoelectric properties. A generalized gradient approximation and modified BeckeJohnson potentials were used to calculate the exchange-correlation potential. The compound is shown to have metallic properties in the electronic structure calculations. Actinium series element is used as a void filler in this study.
