Abstract: AbstractIn our desire to reduce formaldehyde emission from urea formaldehyde resin (UF), dimethylol urea (DMU) was synthesized. Liquid polystyrene (PS) obtained from waste PS material was copolymerized by blending with the DMU at varying concentrations (10–70%).
