Enhancing Mechanical Performance in Reinforced Hybrid Composites using Silicon Carbide and Aluminium Oxide Fillers
Abstract: Hybrid composites are becoming useful because they have better qualities than regular composites. This study examines the conventional properties of composites that utilise SiC and Al2O3 as filler components. Kevlar, S-glass, and sisal fibers at 90° and 0°, followed by additional layers of S-glass and Kevlar. To make sure that the material qualities were the same throughout, the resin and fibre layers were arranged in an alternating pattern. Mechanical testing …

Application of Natural and Synthetic Polymer-Based Disintegrants in the Design of Fast Dissolving Cefuroxime Axetil Tablet Composites
Abstract: The current paper examines how natural and synthetic polymer-based disintegrants can be used to design fast-soluble types of tablet composites. A model drug was chosen and tablets were prepared by the direct compression method using different polymeric excipients, such as guar gum, locust bean gum, sodium starch glycolate (SSG) and cross povidone. Eight formulations were prepared and tested on the basis of critical material and performance characteristics including thickness, hardness, …

Volunteering and Community Connection: Benefits of Community Volunteering to Connect People Together Through School Children and Build Harmonious Community
Abstract: Unlike traditional forms of volunteering, modern volunteering has new purposes and outcomes. It is now recognized as a legitimate way for individuals to formally participate in local affairs through community level action. In many countries, volunteers have a nationally legislated institutional structure and set of principles, and rights and responsibilities, which is collectively agreed upon to be adhered to and safeguarded by all volunteers and the organizations and programs they …

Structural Performance Evaluation of Circular Perforated Plates under Mechanical Loading
Abstract: Circular perforated plates are structurally critical components in aerospace, automotive, and marine sectors, where perforation-induced stress concentrations govern failure under mechanical loading. This study conducts a systematic finite element analysis of stress distribution, deformation, and interlaminar behavior in aluminum and glass-epoxy laminates ([−45/45/90/0]S and [−45/45/90/0]AS) under uniform transverse pressure with clamped-free boundary conditions. Four perforation configurations—no hole, central hole, single-series, and 25-hole grid—were evaluated using ANSYS Shell-181, verified against Kirchhoff–Love, …
