Signal Drift Compensation in Polymer-Based Wearable Biosensors Using Data Processing Techniques
Abstract: Polymer-based wearable biosensors have emerged as promising platforms for continuous physiological monitoring due to their mechanical flexibility, low operating voltage, and compatibility with soft biological interfaces. However, their long-term deployment remains challenging because of signal drift caused by polymer ageing, hydration–dehydration cycles, ionic trapping, and environmental variations. These effects introduce baseline fluctuations and sensitivity degradation, which compromise the reliability and interpretability of physiological measurements. This study proposes a data-processing–driven framework …

The Evolution of Ransomware: In-Depth Analysis of Threat Development and Modern Defense Mechanisms
Abstract: Ransomware is the most severe of all cybersecurity threats the contemporary digital world is confronted with. It is a form of malware that encrypts a victim's information and requests ransom, usually in cryptocurrency, for its decryption. From its first appearance in the late 1980s, ransomware grew from simple malware into very advanced and targeted attacks that can be used to bring down entire organizations, businesses and critical infrastructure. This study …

Impact of School-Based Oral Hygiene Education on Knowledge and Attitude among School Children Aged 10–15 Years in a Selected Rural Community of Bangalore
Abstract: This quasi-experimental study evaluated a structured teaching program (STP) designed to improve oral hygiene knowledge and attitudes in 10–15-year-old students from a rural Bangalore community. Before the program, most students demonstrated limited understanding of dental care and negative attitudes toward oral hygiene. After the STP, both knowledge and favorable attitudes increased markedly (paired t-test, p<0.001). For example, the mean knowledge scores increased substantially after the intervention, demonstrating a level of …

Contribution, Limitations and Future Of Plant Growth Promoting Consortium in Sustainable Agriculture
Abstract: Current agricultural methods rely significantly on chemical fertilizers, pesticides, and other agrochemicals to enhance plant growth and combat pathogens, aiming to boost crop yields. However, the accumulation of chemical residues in the soil diminishes soil fertility considerably over a period. These accumulated chemicals gradually alter the soil's chemical composition, ultimately rendering it infertile. The high-risk conditions associated with these agricultural chemicals such as bioaccumulation, chemical toxicity and development of resistance …

Design and Development of a Sanitary Napkin Incinerator
Abstract: Improper disposal of menstrual waste presents serious health and environmental risks, especially in rural areas with limited access to proper sanitation and waste management systems. Without adequate facilities, used menstrual products are often discarded in open spaces, water bodies, or burned, leading to pollution, foul odors, and the spread of infections. The lack of awareness, infrastructure, and stigma surrounding menstruation further worsens the issue, making it crucial to promote safe, …

Multidimensional Impacts on Bryophyllum Pinnatum for the Potential of Obesity: A Review
Abstract: Global public health concerns related to obesity are growing. Several comorbid illnesses, including cardiovascular disease (CVC), gastrointestinal disorders, type 2 diabetes (T2d), joint and muscle disorders, respiratory difficulties, and psychological disorders, are significantly more common in obese patients. The widespread misconception that obesity stems solely from a lack of self-control is gradually losing its stigma as awareness about fat-related issues grows. Instead of synthetic drugs herbal or medicinal plants are …

A Comprehensive Review of CNN-Based Framework for Multi-Sign Detection of Diabetic Retinopathy in Fundus Images Using Public Datasets
Abstract: Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is one of the main causes of vision impairment. Blindness prevention and effective treatment depend on early detection. A thorough deep learning-based framework for the automatic segmentation and simultaneous detection of exudates, hemorrhages, and microaneurysms – three important DR indicators – from retinal fundus images is presented in this work. These three pathological signs’ corresponding annotated image patches, along with background (no-sign) areas, were used to train …
