Didymophyes bayaramae sp.nov., a new septate gregarine (Protozoa: Apicomplexa) from Aphis fabae of Manipur
Abstract: The protozoa septate gregarines infect the midgut of Aphis fabae and cause severe infection to the intestinal tissues of the host. During a biodiversity survey on the septate gregarines parasite by the Aphud groups, we collected specimens of Aphis fabae from a bean farm in Imphal, Manipur, India. We dissected the host and isolated some protozoan parasites from the host's midgut. We encountered a new species of septate gregarine, Didymophyses …

A Critical Appraisal of Nutritional Value of Mashadi Modaka in Ativyayama Janit Poshana Abhava (Relative Energy Deficiency) in Sports Persons
Abstract: Background: Sports Medicine is defined as physical fitness, treatment and prevention of injury related to sports and exercise. As per Ayurvedic classical texts, in the concept of Dinacharya, Vyayama is defined as physical exercise and is advised to be performed at Ardhashakti (~half of one’s capacity). Otherwise, Atiyoga Lakshana, such as Shrama (~excessive fatigue), Klama (~exhaustion), Kshaya (~depletion), etc., may be observed. Nowadays, it is observed that most sportspersons consume …

Examining Experimentally the Impact of Spot-Welding Process Variables on Metal Matrix Composites
Abstract: Metal matrix composites work in concert with reinforcement to improve the material's qualities. Reliability in joining metal matrix composites using traditional methods is challenging. Friction Stir Welding has demonstrated the ability to solve numerous issues that arise in traditional welding procedures. Initially, the Friction Stir Welding (FSW) welding procedure produced metal seams that were solid. Additionally, FSW was expanded to join MMCs and their alloys. The purpose of this review …

Design and Simulation of Fuzzy Logic Based Speed Control for an SPWM Inverter-fed Induction Motor Taking Core Loss and Stray Load Losses into Account
Abstract: Speed and torque of an induction motor need to be controlled in order to achieve smooth control application. Field oriented control aids this factor and enables independent control of speed and torque by establishing an independent relationship between motor parameters. This complex relationship is developed due to consideration of core loss and stray load loss while modeling an induction motor. These two negligible but important parameters are neglected in most …

Analysis and Comparison of Space Vector and Sinusoidal PWM Controlled Two Level Inverter Fed 3- Induction Motor
Abstract: The current generation of variable speed drives is typically based around the real-time digital generation of Pulse-Width Modulated (PWM) waveforms using either microprocessors or application-specific integrated circuits in many ways. PWM generation techniques for getting the control of inverters have the major advantages that component drift and tolerance problems associated with earlier analog implementations. Of all the various PWM techniques Sinusoidal and Space vector PWM techniques are more prominent. The …
