Design of a 10-bit Segmented Current-Steering CMOS D/A Converter for High Speed Communication System
Abstract: In the present work, design of a 10-bit digital-to-analog (D/A) converter using current segmentation architecture in 0.35 µm double-poly, four-metal, CMOS process has been attempted. The measured differential nonlinearity (DNL) and integral nonlinearity (INL) are 0.8 and 2.5 least significant bits (LSBs) respectively. For sampling frequency of 12-MSample/s, the spurious free dynamic range (SFDR) is better than 56 dB for signal up to Nyquist rate. The worst case power consumption …

Stable control of the motion of gas bubbles dissolved in a vibrating fluid in microgravity conditions
Abstract: Previous theoretical and experimental studies of the effect of vibration on gas bubbles, dissolved in a fluid, permitted to establish the localization and stable position of a “swarm” of gas bubbles at a certain level of fluid in the vessel corresponding to a certain frequency and vibration acceleration, aswell as to the volume of a swarm of gas bubbles. The control of a “swarm“ of gas bubbles in a fluid …

FROM SPEECH TO SONGS VIA RECITAL – A CASE OF PHASE TRANSITION? A FRACTAL STUDY OF TAGORE’S WORK
Abstract: The work explores the variation of scaling exponents in a song, recitation and reading with the same lyrical content. Detrended Fluctuation Analysis (DFA) have been employed to find the long range temporal correlations (or the Hurst Exponent) present in each form of the auditory signal. Perceptually, it is known that the addition of rhythm and pitch, amplitude modulation distinguish between these different forms of audio signals, but the mathematical analogue …

A Cryptosystem based on Topological Space
Abstract: The study of surface is topology. This paper uses some characteristics of knot theory and develops a public key cryptosystem. A topologically, algebraically one way trapdoor function-based knot cryptography. A link is a set of one or more closed loops in three-dimensional space. The individual loops are called the components of the link. The loops can be twisted or knotted. If there is only one loop, the link is called …

DC Motor Controller by PWM Technique
Abstract: Abstract: This project is expected to control the speed of a DC (Direct Current) engine using PWM (pulse-width-modulation) control with the 8051 plan microcontroller. The speed of the DC engine is explicitly relating to the voltage associated over its way, in case the voltage over the engine terminal is moved, at that point the speed can be changed. This venture uses the above rule to control the speed of the …

Homeopathy & Sports Injuries: A Clinical Review
Abstract: Homeopathy ‘fits the bill’ as a safe and effective tool for the management and treatment of sports and other injuries without side-effects. This is primarily because homeopathic treatment provides the natural stimulus for our innate body systems to ease injuries, or pain syndromes, and hasten healing. More importantly, homeopathic remedies are endowed with a huge advantage—they are not ‘drugs,’ and they do not act as chemicals inside the body. They …
