Facile Synthesis and Characterization of Cd²⁺ Doped NiAl₂O₄ Nanoparticles for Advanced Polymer Composite Integration
Abstract: Ni1-xCdxAl2O4, where 0 ≤ x ≤ 0.5, was successfully synthesized using the chemical co-precipitation technique, a scalable and cost-effective route suitable for composite material applications. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis revealed a crystalline cubic spinel structure for the resulting nanoparticles, with determined crystallite sizes ranging from 36 to 12 nm for NiAl2O4 and Cd-doped NiAl2O4. The respective band gaps for the materials were found to be 3.51 and 4.18 eV. Infrared …

Influence of Photoelectrons on Spacecraft Charging for Artificial Orbiting Spacecraft
Abstract: For the purpose of evaluating the temporal body potential and capacitance of an artificial orbiting spacecraft, this research analyzes the impact of photoelectrons on spacecraft charging. A metallic rectangular cuboid and two coplanar metallic rectangular plates compose the spacecraft model. The Runge-Kutta method is used to calculate the body potential, and the method of moments is used to calculate the capacitance. Depending on the spacecraft's inclination angle, solar energy from …

Studying the effects of Exposure to Chemicals on The brain and Nervous System and The risk of Chemical Pollution
Abstract: Scientific research and studies on chemical pollution show that exposure of the brain and nervous system to chemicals causes serious damage ranging from cognitive, motor, and nerve cell disorders to chronic diseases such as Alzheimer's and neurological paralysis. These substances (such as lead ions, mercury, solvents that combine and dissolve easily in the blood, and pesticides) disrupt neurotransmitters and cause cell damage, especially during the early stages of body development. …

Design and Ballistic Performance Assessment of Pattern-Optimized Lightweight Composite Armor Using ANSYS Explicit Dynamic and AUTODYN
Abstract: This study investigates the ballistic performance of lightweight composite armor panels designed to defeat 9 mm full-metal-jacket (FMJ) threats using high-fidelity numerical simulations. Four different composite materials were arranged into panels of identical overall dimensions; only the internal segment pattern was varied to explore geometric resistance effects while keeping mass and material type controlled. Ballistic impact simulations were performed using ANSYS Explicit Dynamics and AUTODYN to capture high-strain-rate behavior, local …
